Would you still play WOW if Blizzard, somehow, improve their detection methods and there were no WOW bots available? (only play by hand?)

      Please justify your answer...

Yes I would, I would probably stop messing around farming stuff and get more motivated to start raiding and making some progress worth the time.

I wouldn't. I tried after a 72hr ban and it was just too boring so now I just bot constantly waiting to get banned so I can finally get away from the game for a bit.

      Addiction at its best..i know.

HAHAHA exactly what i do... I tried to quit wow some times, but addiction is such that I always came back to the game. Now I bot 24/7 (as long as my connection allows) and flood the AH with goods at my main account, just "wishing" I finally get a perma-ban to quit wow.... But they just don't ban me! hahahah...

No. I haven't legitimately played the game in years. I would suck and wouldn't have the patience to get better.

Botting gives me a sense of accomplishment with the freedom to be a normal social human. Without my beloved bot I would be too far behind the curb to gear fresh 85's enough to enjoy the endgame of WoW I pay for.

Truth be told, I believe I am more addicted to botting than playing by hand. If there were no available bots, I would most probably just quit playing.

Even with botting I'm becoming really bored with WoW and have been spending 80% of my time in Rift....botting :)

Even went over to playerauctions a bit ago thinking about posting up my WoW accounts. I've got 85 rogue, lock, dk, hunter, shaman, pally, druid. I should be able to buy a decent amount of beer with that I think. :)

After experiencing botting, I'd have to say I wouldn't play wow without a bot. Since I started botting 11/2 months ago I haven't hand played at all lol. I'm just frustrated I didn't start botting way sooner! Sad I started when gold prices went to the crapper. But all in all this game takes too much time to get things done.

I am a former gold buyer... After spending about US$ 120 buying gold, in desperation to level my professions and equip my toons, I realised that instead of "buying the fish", I should instead "learn to fish"....

Happy botter since then.... all chars flying at 310%, lots of kirin tor rings, mammoth mounts, bikes, every profession and BOE gear that I could ever imagine.... and 400k gold stored at guild bank.

      I couldnt be happier.

I playing since 2008, and many of my chars still flied at 150% when i started botting, just because I simply did not have the money to afford 280% flying....

BOTTING is the answer to any wow question.

I play semi-comptetive arenas(2500+) so I would, yeah. I only get my golds + alts leveled up with botting. I could do it manually, too, but just more effort now that I have a job and rather kick back watching movies and whatnot.

No, I raid and have fun with wow. But I wouldnt enjoy it (had to farm gold and alts myself would probably ruin my life)

At the moment I play myself when im boored and have nothing to do at all, that is nothing. But basically i play 12-16 hours a week depending on our raid schedule.
