Fpsware Druid (version 4) - what do you want?

Fpsware Druid is well overdue for a complete rewrite, so now is the time for you to tell me what you want in a druid CC.

1. Be VERY specific. Comments like "be l33t", "most DPS", "BGs" will only cause to piss me off and inturn, I'll yell at you. The more specific information you can include the better I can make this CC. For those of you who are new and have not participated in one of these "what fpsware CC..." discussions I suggest you just sit and watch.

I will not accept comments like "... the way XYZ CC does it". I do not look/use other CCs, so you must be very detailed and specific in your description.



2. The following will be supported:

• All 3 specs (Feral Cat & Bear, Balance Boomkin, Restoration Party/Instance/BG healing).
• Keep in mind, this is primarily a PVE/Questing/Grinding CC. All other functionality will be secondary.
• Instancing (DPS only). Specific logic for instance. Tanking will not be supported.
• BGs. Specific logic for BGs.
• LazyRaider. Specific logic for LazyRaider (optomised DPS for raids/instances)
• All spells and abilities where possible.

EDIT: Thank you for your PM, yes I understand I can be a wee bit cranky, I understand I have a tendency to call people idoits - ITS BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ARE! If you can't follow the most basic of instructions I suggest you go and play in the sandpit with you choo-choo train.

 

It needs to be in a directory called "FPSware LeetorzDrood".

Raid healing with lazy raider is all I want

 

Already planned - as mentioned above.

 

The ability to set when to heal, I do not want to drop moonkin/cat form to heal when the mob im killing is at under 95% Health.

Only heal in combat in emergency situations, otherwise it drops moonkin, heals 3 or 4 times, and is still getting hit by mob/mobs.

 

well it needs to have a Scope, Smoothy Maker, Sonic Screw Driver, and it Needs to be Bigger on the Inside then it is on the outside. once you can get it to do all these things then it will be AWESOME!

You already have great settings that are fully customizable

will say one thing on healing if you want to tackle it.
I have used a lot of them on this server I think and the one thing is priority
everyone of them just says ok is X below 50% cast Y
is X below 80% cast Z

no priority to the tank. If tank is 50% and some dumb ass lock standing in the purple is 49% lock comes first. huh?
simply because his is lowest in health.


make it so that you sit to heal and then jump up and loose drink, and time because some dumb lock hits drain life.
I don't care if he drains himself to death.
but so many have to have 100% on everyone before sitting to drink and if someone is 99% it will go bananas to heal them.
IF RESTING...REST simple enough

for all dps people it seems that today in instances we are trying to do more dps on groups of ads.

your hunter whoops ass on these. Well he just whoops ass anyway

I know that boom aoe is nerfed to hell and been replaced with mushrooms.
but we have other tools for aoe menu items to say how many ads etc.

RE: Healing. I'll be using the same logic that my priest CC uses, it evaluates the tank first and then party members. But, if a party member is less than 50% of the tanks health it will choose the other party member. There are a few more tweaks I want to make but I'm quite happy with the priest healing logic on a whole.

 

This question goes to all those who have played a Boomkin at RAID level.

What is YOUR rotation on boss / long fights?

 

Moonfire, Insect Swarm, Wrath until you proc Eclipse, Starfire for duration of Eclipse
Rinse Repeat
Wanna make sure to have a setting to turn off Starfall, and Treants so we don't pull tons of adds and get everyone dead.... LOL

I play resto, boomkin so if you wanna pm me a svn I would be happy to run it through it's paces and give ya some feedback. If not I will wait for yet another great cc from ya p.s. please fix hunters killshot when ya get a chance ... lol

1. Do you have a Druid level 70-85?
2. Is it Balance spec (or able to test Balance spec)?
3. Have you RAIDED (or Heroic instance) with a Balance spec Druid?
4. Do you know how to use a SVN?
5. Do you know how to form a complete sentence?
6. Do you know how to offer constructive critisim?
7. Are you willing to pledge your first born child/puppy/kitten/demon spawn?

 

Can perhaps offer some more insight into balance rotation, but later... cos i gotta work atm

SVN Updated. Fixed a few bugs with Mushrooms. Added AoE dotting (Moonfire and Insec Swarm DoTs on all mobs).

I just finished running this through a heroic and it worked extremely well.

New bugs: Lazy Raider option is not working as intended.

 

I would like to see a option where the CC only heals when he is not under attack from players.
