Ok my old hb is working great and I have the buddy lifetime with 3 sessions however I download the new one and it just says Authentication failed and then the login button pops up again and I cant get past the first authentication. I redownloaded and installed it twice and ran as adminstrator. I do not know what else to do but to keep using the old hb for now. thanks for any of your help.

Yeah i know that but thats not the problem it will not let me log onto with the new one soon as i press log in it says authriaztion failed and the login screen comes back. Ok well I got this to work on my laptop but it stills does not work on my desktop. The only difference is that my desktop is windows 7 is in test mode because of me modding my xbox. So do you think thats the problem and if it is would you know how to fix it. please help thanks
try to disable your firewall(if any) or add exception for Hb also make sure that port 5031 is open Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model - PortForward.com
Why would the old one work fine and not the new one. what kind of authentication is different in this new one? thanks please help
Ok thanks for all your help. You were right it was the firewall. Since I still had the old one installed avg was not setting up to allow the new honorbuddy. So i just added it manually and its working thanks for all your help
