hello i think the most common reason for a ban while botting is not actual botting, but making money off botting. i understand that usually when players report bots, they get several 72 hr bans, but when they catch you giving away 100k+ gold, its instant perm ban. i got a perm ban on my account a while ago and thought it was hopeless to try to get it back i was just wondering if anyone were able to get their back and if they could share
i have been banned a few times for that, What i did was call them up. Say you can't get into your account, then explain you've been away on holiday or something and say you haven't been able to access your emails. They feel bad and unban it for you, after providing them with sufficient details. Worked for me the past 6 times lol
I just got one last night, although the account has been banned 2 times already, I fought it, they said no it was tsill the same, I put in an account recovery and 30 minutes later my account was locked and asking for a password reset, reset the password and account unbanned. gl
automated account recovery never worked for me. but i wrote them and told blah blah blah used auction house so much because of selling all my collected stuff. but never botted or anything else... worked several times for me. but not always
i got a warning on my new account. i didnt want to call them yet because im waiting to get banned on my new account(since new one is better, but old one had 300k+ gold but its on a bad server). i got a warning for exploitation and not participating in pvp. i was using a druid feral profile which works horribly compared to the heal so it was probably obvious. i emailed them back saying i havent pvped in weeks (my accounts 1 week old) and they undid the warning. bunch of fools
I normally don't sell gold but got some accounts laying around not being used so I decided to just bot them and sell the gold till they get banned, Anyways I sold a nice chunk of gold on one, got banned than played innocent and ban was lifted with gold restored. Resold the gold next day and still not banned.
had a situation like this happen before haha they even gave me alot of my mats back so i had even more gold + $$
Got my account closed almost instantly for selling a big amount of gold from my main account.I lied them that i wanted to buy a spectral tiger and i didn`t knew that is against their EULA since that mount can be sold at auction house also, after 3 days i got my account back.
Back in the TBC I had a guild bank with a friend where we deposited everything we had caught so the other could use without any problems. One day, I got hacked and that guild bank got empty. I sent an ingame ticket saying I got hacked and they gave me all the items I had on the guild bank. My friend did the same and we got 2 times the items on the guild bank. I decided to sell all the gold I made and I got banned. Called them and said I was banned and they lifted and I sent another ticket and they gave me again everything. After that, I didn't sell more gold on that account.
Sounds like he sold the gold then wow restored the gold.. .the buyer would still have his portion plus highvoltz gets another chunk..
