For starters download newest version of HB. then post again if it does not work.

You last log looks like your Honorbuddy had been stepped on really, really bad. Did you install the new Honorbuddy into a fresh directory (rather than overwriting a previous installation)?

Toss another log please, and lets see if the failure modes are the same as previously.

      cheers,

Looks like a nice, clean install. That's one down. :)

Move your toon within interact distance of Marshal Dughan, then restart the bot. You should be off-and-away again after that.

      cheers,

thats not cutting it i was sitting on his lap and it didnt work. i went ahead and picked up the quest by hand :/ wont even take one step anywhere when i start the bot. says the same exact thing

"Could not create current in quest bot; exception was thrown
The type initializer for 'Styx.Logic.Profiles.ProtectedItemsManager' threw an exception."

I'll toss a few more things to try that are simply acts of desperation. Do them one at a time, and stop if you achieve success...
      1) Don't install Honorbuddy directly on the D: drive. Put it in a subdirectory.
      2) See if there's any chance your .NET 3.5 SP1 could be damaged ([wiki]Buddy products: Installing the .NET 3.5 Framework[/wiki]).
      3) Delete your Settings directory.

Sorry this is being so persnickety. If this doesn't clean it up, you'll need to get Tony to help.

      cheers,

i did a new HB installation inside my C: drive, its got its own neat little files in there, went to start it up and so far so good. he moved right over to a little spot full of murlocs and blasted em away and is looting the quest items. ill post again if i run into the same trouble (hopefully i wont). Thanks again for your assistance! :D
