ShamWOW for HB2 - An Enhance/Elemental/Resto + PVP/RaF Healbot by Bobby53

That was when I believed HonorBuddy API's provided access to whether a mob has a raid icon on it. That doesn't exist presently, so as soon as support is added into HB I'll enable the framework already in place in ShamWOW a few days later.

How hard would it be to implement the ghost wolf changes I had mentioned. I did some quick math on a napkin while i had my coffee and the estimated time saved is ridiculous? These are just Java plugins right? I could probably help you.. Is shamwow open source?

Just wanted to say Bobby53, really you are the best. Always kind in every reaction and by far the best profile I have seen arround. Currently testing this with a enhancement and resto shaman in arena. Yes its a shitty setup but your awsome profile manages to do a fantastic job!

bobby could you help me using teamviewer to set up enh? ive had 2 people try and they cant get it to use enh spec either. doesnt give me the option of anything but ele and resto...which are both not that great for leveling. Would appreciate the help...

 

There is no selection that has to be made for using the Enhancement specialization. To be honest, I have no idea where you are seeing this option for Elemental and Restoration. Simply start the bot while you're in Enhancement spec and it will detect and use the appropriate combat routine.

@koptill: The advice from jeffgtx is absolutely correct. If you can't get it to recognize Enhancement its due to an installation error. Start from scratch installing both HB and ShamWOW per the directions (steps provided in the FAQ that jeffgtx linked.) If you still encounter issues, use the steps in the FAQ for reporting the error. Best cc i had ever seen, i have a quick question. Is there a way to disable movemnt, i mean i want the cc to heal while i control movmnt bg or Ib. I see in class config where i can disable movmnt but the bot is still moving

 

Get the bot LazyRaider

ShamWoW recognizes (or vise versa). Does wonders.

@tigres, What HB3510X20 described is absolutely correct. ShamWOW is designed to recognize the environment, build, and combat scenario and respond in the way you would want it to without having to change any settings. You don't need to set the Disable CC Movement setting in ShamWOW Configuration because as HB3510X20 mentioned ShamWOW recognizes you are using LazyRaider so disables movement for you. That way when you switch to another Bot you won't have to remember to change the setting back. Virtually all settings in ShamWOW are/were for special purposes to change to go against the default behavior for a unique purpose or to work around an issue that no longer exists. Hi bobby,

just a question. As doing more and more pvp, i read a lot through threads and watched movies. So i came up with the idea, to play enhancer with a 2h weapon.

Reforging everything to crit and stuff, there is a huge amount of damage, demonstrated here:

so my question, is ShamWoW able to handle this? All spells that i am going to deal damage with 2H is stormstrike, shocks and lightning bolt(chain lightning). The rest is auto hits and hopefully a lot of big windfurry WTF crits =))

So what you think could this work, so that ShamWoW just uses the spells that are available or will it run into errors cause it only accepts dual wielding skills?

DaSoul, On something like this the fastest and most accurate answer would come from just giving it a try. I suggest buying a Gray weapon from a vendor and trying a training dummy or a battleground with LazyRaider before spending gold on a weapon and gear changes. You won't see the huge crits you would when properly outfitted, but you would be able to determine whether it will cast the spells necessary for you. The short answer is Yes, it will work. ShamWOW only uses the available spells and Lava Lash requires an offhand. That can be a fun PVP build because of the big crits (definitely leaving some saying WTF was that?), but you should see lower overall damage numbers with equivalent DW gear. I haven't played that spec since Wrath though since DW is now available at Level 10 and I don't usually have a decent 2H'er to play around with on my Shaman, whereas I usually still had one in my 40's pre-Cata where I would do some WSG / AB with. Note, that 2H is a lot of fun to Duel with, especially at lower levels.
