i do the same although lately blizz have been removing quests, i'd have complained but i'm not that type of person. i did write them down, but my 8 month old daughter decided they were edable.
I recently Leveled a Horde toon to 85 using the already made Horde Questing Profiles out there. With a little common sense, I fixed a couple bugs that occured and did the few manual quests that were required. 80-85 was the most needy (requiring a lot of manual quests). Before level 80, I probably had to touch the computer 10-20 times (fixing minor bugs, deleting quests that weren't there, and doing manual quests). This only took about 9 days running the bot 8-10hrs per day. However, I did level a toon 70-85 with Archaeology. This took a lot longer, but it was 99.8% AFK and could be run pretty much 24 hrs/day.
I've leveled 4 toons using Kick's profiles. I use them daily, other than the amount of interaction he chooses to put into the cata questing profiles I usually only need to interact with my chars a couple times by MY choice from level 1 to 70. At 70 I prefer to level through Archaeology. Sure the program is in need of some fine tuning. However the problems you are having and many other people have are problems with the way they are setting things up. And most of the people here don't want a 1 click wonder that does everything for them. I like the many ways I can customize my toons leveling experiences.
iv been using the questing profiles on different level ranges and the only buggy ones are 1-10 but you are fully aware of that already. I love your profiles and for the most part id say they are AFKable
All I can add to this is that in a year and a half I have gained approx 650k gold, Quested 6x85's on various servers using Kicks profiles (up to Deepholm they are 98% afkable), ie I need to click something sometimes (ie about 4 times, as a quest behaviour even misfired). How on earth you can say it doesnt work is beyond me...
