Life is at 2.44g ea on my server =( Running 2 char, both Herb+Mining, one in Vashj'ir and one in Uldum. Both mailing their stuff to a 3rd char, that deposit the stuff into a guildbank where I have private buyers getting their mats somewhat below AH prices. I've made ~20k a day the last 3 days (without selling Volatiles). Occationally killing some rarespawns using the Rarekiller plugin, netting 750g for some plate boots, and 80k for the mount in Vashj'ir. Azshara's Veil & Stormvine doesn't sell that well, Obsidium way cheap, but if I manage to get Reins of Posseidus on a weekly basis, it'll still be where I make the most of my golds.
Deepholm is the best, a stack of heartblossom is like 80g, but unfortunately you just get obsidium ore.
Really depends, as for me i mill the herbs and make Darkmoon Cards, as far that in aware Hearthblossom only have 25% chance on milling to get Burning Embers. While Whiptail or Twilight Jasmine got 50% chance.
I use to do whiptail in uldum - its better than twilight jasmine, less buggy and less people around in my server. but i cant these masses on the ah so i took some high capacity buyers that take between 400-800 per week each and sell it lower than in ah but i get rid of every single shitty stack. volatiles sell great in bulk, once you have the people that have large need of it. and so you'll make both happy: your buyers pay less and you get rid of everything without having 200 auctions per day, which is (as others write) not so good if you want stay undetected by bli774rd.
People ask these questions all the time. The answer will NEVER be the same. Everything varies. PvE or PVP server, server population, amount of people botting zones on your server. Amount of Horde to Alliance. Everything comes in to play. Then people always assume its the newer zones, but you have to realize that everyone and their mother is botting the newer zones. On one of my servers, I make the most money out of Saronite and Cobalt Bars. They sell for far more than anything you will get out of a new zone because very few people are gathering them and everyone is gathering the new stuff.
The question was about herb quantity, not quality. As far as i know Uldum's Whiptail is far ahead of any other zone if coming to quantity.
That could be very true. I'll have to say Vashj'ir though, for 2 reasons.. It's a less likely place to be banned imho, cause there's not many on my realm and a shitload of herbs Uldum whiptail is just asking to be banned on my realm
The most efficient spot i have found was deepholm for me. Only because im always all alone there. get around 30 stacks an hour.
I second that. Schwingtown is absolutely correct, I get mad numbers down there and since im only using them for Darkmoon stuff I dont really care what herbs I get. Great place, quiet, mostly safe.
Druid in Vash is the bag filler. Not many ppl in, aquatic form + sea legs = herbs grabbin on *****! enough said.
Dracoe is right on point. Druid with Aquatic Form in Vashj'ir is unbeatable if you find a good spot. I've been able to reach 160+ obj./hr. when no one else is around. Look for good profiles there.
Its interesting for me to see Uldum at the #1 spot. I really only use mining there, I don't think I've tried herbing there. When I watch my mining profile go through Uldum I've seen like 3 other gatherers flying around there trying to steal my ore who DEFINITELY look like underexperienced botters using probably free programs judging by one of them being an 80 Tauren in Uldum, and another level 78 Blood Elf right there next to the Tauren flying around. The sad part is, I'm on a very low populated server.
Imagine what Uldum looks like on a very high pop server (my server)........ The ONLY time I have ever been banned was when I ran GB2 in Uldum for a few hours. The short time I observed the profile farming, I seen about 10 lvl 80's farming as well. I was banned 4 hours later. Now-a-days I NEVER farm in Uldum because that zone is just asking to be banned. I do 100% of my herbing in twilight highlands (sometimes running up to 18 hours a day) and have had ZERO problems there. And trust me, there are a LOT of honorbuddy users on my server! My second choice would DEFINITELY be Vash'jr simply because there is never anyone in that zone.
Im using 10 bots atm.. 4 hb + 6 pirox. I use 2 bots in each zone. 1 collecting herbs, other ores. Mount hyjal is by far the best per hour if u use a good profile.. On a med realm i get a minimum of 150ph with both.. Thats even with 3 other botters competing. Uldam is next, but if u have other botters in the area u wont get more than 110ph. i dont make the.mistake of filling the ah with ore and herbs which tends to be why many get bans.. I have all professions available and use them accordingly to max.profits... Currently i make.70k minimum per day. Anyway.. Mount hyjal for best ph. Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
