I was just suspended for 72 hours, but were able to appeal the account to have it unsuspended within 24. The reason reads thus:

"It would appear that your account was profiled for repetitive actions on a large scale, or general Bot-like behaviour. This can occur when you are grinding rep for a particular faction (Bloodsail Buccaneers for example) and as such accidentally struck."

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? HB (questing)

2)If so, when was the last time?: Right when I got suspended

3)What profile were you using?: [Fly H - Quest].58-70.Outland.v3.3.1 Release -- ban happened literally a few hours after starting it

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:
      FPSWare Hunter

5)What plugins are you using?: Talented, Autoequip 2

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Rather long ones, I must admit. I did not intentionally take breaks, but disconnects assured that the sessions were no longer than 15-16 hours.

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?: Almost never.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 20-30, on a bank alt on the same account. I was leveling, so that is not unusual.

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No

      10)EU or US realm? EU

What steps should I take to better my chances in the future?

i'd start with this XD lol. also, last time i used horde profiles, they were kinda balls...i'm not sure how much they've improved in the last few months, but last i used them even the questing profiles were like 30%+ grinding. alliance profiles are awesome though, if you have no particular need to be horde i'd make your next alt ally :p

Actually I ran a 99% questing profile from 1-60, and the suspension hit almost instantly when I started the 60-70 profile, which was just questing too (up to that point). I wasn't even a third on the way to 61. When I logged on after getting unsuspended, it was located at the npc, about to hand in the quest. Maybe it got stuck there and looped, and that flagged me as a bot? *Shrug*

I can't really supervise my bot; if I could i'd play myself. I bot precisely so that I can be somewhere else.

That often happens, when your profile doesnt check the level before trying to take new quests. Therefore its good to have at least a monitor plugin to check these things regularly with your phone or whatever. you can find many on the forum. an alternative is Teamviewer for Iphone - so can take a quick loot onto your PC from almost everywhere - exept Himalaya. (I wouldnt bot while being on the himalaya)

That's EXACTLY what happened to me a while back.
I suppose no real human would interact with an npc the way hb does for extended periods, which they monitor from what it seems.
