Hello HB team, i know this question lot of people are asking them self, we know that a big MMO is coming ( im not saying it gonna be a WoWKiller, Blahblah, i dont care) lot of people is waiting for it, so the question is this?, IF THE GAME like you said, "We are gonna be where the DEmAND IS" have succes are you guys are gonna support it, or you going to support even it doesnt have success like RIFT. THanks.
I hope not...at least not for the first year or so. I'd like to use a private bot to farm and cash in on the currency market for a while before a bunch of public bots destroy the economy.
what i can say atm is that we are always checking the market... SW:ToR looks nice and a nice game deserves a nice bot
The best way to maximize profit is to take the first 6-12 months and privately farm in the currency market before the bots start being made public which effectively shrinks profit margins on virtual currency. That's why I would rather not see any public bots for at least a year. Once the currency market shifts, and public bots start hitting the market, then take that private bot and sell it as a subscription to the masses while continuing to farm privately. It is simple supply and demand economics with a sprinkle of business 101. Looking at it from a player/fan perspective - I think you will miss ALOT if you bot TOR on day 1. The game offers a twist on progression with voiced npcs and an interactive storyline. Why would you bot that right away and miss 70% of what makes this game cool and different?
Heres where u need to get 2 pc , 1 for botting 1 for enjoy the game (play it), in my case i used to be addicted to WoW ( i wont lie, we all were), i quit the game on WoTLK, then i meet HonorBuddy and started making money with it, so right now my live has change alot, i got married, almost finishing my university and looking for a CHILD, so i dont have time like old days to spend on gaming, so i make money FROM games like i do with WoW, i play sometimes a BG and stuff like that, so yeah, for me its not a big deal start farming from Day 1, i own 2 pc 1 for botting 1 for gaming. REMEMBER THIS IS MY CASE..and my opinion
Private bot ... LOL pirox, buddy, wowmimic, and every other Pay for Service bot is private by definition. Unless you are the 0.01% population that can create your own bot, know how to counter warden, and for some rare reason you actually succeed in having a private bot. You'll end up selling your bot to the public regardless for profit.
Basically SWTOR will be like WOW in 2004/2005. Where gold farmers were making tons of gold because gold prices were $10/K or higher. So 2012 = SWTOR gold making by the year 2014 = gold prices will plummet because WOW will release their next MMORPG 2015 = wow releases new MMORPG, and all the ban wagon botters will jump on it to profit off of blizzard. Here's the downside about going back to blizzard though, they are experienced in warden detections so they'll have the upper hand. While SWTOR developers are newbs at detecting botters so you'll profit greatly from swtor in the first two years.
Then you would be playing the wrong game. I've been in the Beta testing of Swtor, jumping right to a bot would be a waste, and you wouldn't get captivated by the game at all - And as it were last month, there are not much Endgame raids or "Flashpoints" as they call them released, atleast not to keep you occupied after rushing to level 50.
I was under the impression that SWTOR has eliminated the need for buying gold and farming . You get companions that go out and farm the mats for you so you can get on with playing the game . I dont think there will be a need for bots in this game , you send your companions out farming , you log off and when you log back on your companions have your mats ready . All this info is on their website , bioware are being smart and eliminating the reason people start using bots in the first place . Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
