FROST-It pulls 21.5k dps over a 5.5 mil dmg span on dummies, the spell priorites are firing off like they should and everything UNHOLY- 17.4k dps over a 21 mil dmg span. I am no expert on unholy but it was also using SS, DC and Festering strike as it's priority spells like it should. I was also using a survial type spec in unholy that picked AMS instead of going down blood tree to get imp. blood tap Blood- 12k ish dps on Rag attempts in FL tonight CD usuage is fine on this fight but I only tested in that situation... For tanks the fight is simple and only thing that changes is the adds phase so not really a good fight to test this on but can be thought of like a training dummy type situation to test tanking cc's out on. My tanking setup is blood build with Lichborne in Frost tree and mostly survival talents not threat talants 200k hp raid buffed 125% blood shields 33k armor 16% parry 14% dodge
Nice song and well done there, the thing I could see ruin this is if the CC automatically tries to death-grip a scorpid for you. Other than that it should be possible dont you think? My DK isnt 85 yet so I have not been able to try it yet.
Yeah I've been reading this thread on it, seems like after they buffed the trash most ppl go for soloing turtles & patriarches. Both needs to be slowed then kited to death. Solo farm Firelands trash - Page 37
why would you use a cc to solo farm trash? the mobs alot of times change distances and you have to continueously swap targets.... plus you are only using 3 spells when solo farming... DnD, Howling Blast and Death coil. When i am solo farming I setup my key bind for howling blast to mouse wheel up as you are always turning/selecting new targets. DnD you want to set out in front and to the side of your adds to where they rotate on the outer most part of DnD so they get hit by more ticks of it(a cc will not have the logic to do that. And with Death coils sometimes you need to save the RP for lichbourne/death coil heals on yourself if you somehow get hit by an add. TLDR version- They would have to develop an entirely new CC just for farming trash and sadly you will still have to manually target what needs to be targeted so if you are truly that lazy don't be farming trash as it will be a waste of a devs time to make a standalone cc for this.
Btw is there support for the skill "Dark Simulacrum"? The DK's spellstealing ability. And when you implement the GUI being able to toggle interrupts would be awesome too. Though sometimes it seems like it uses selective interrupting, if I could change it I would want it so that it prioritizes stopping enemy casting chainheals and healingspells before abilities like wrath. Interrupt-database ftw
Atm i dont really have any intention of making selective interrupts rather than all interrupts, and Dark simulacrum would be easy enough to implement to use each time the mob is casting but again its a quite specialised spell which would be a complete waste if it were used on cd. Have it on your bars and mash it manually, i do.
Allright, why I would like a "toggle interrupts" option would be on facing bosses like Maloriak when you're supposed to let him release a few abberations and focus on interrupting his arcane storm-ability. Dark Simulacrum is new to me so I dont really know where to use it efficciently. Btw what cooldowns does the CC handle? Is there anything I need to use manually except for maybe my trinkets? it handles all cds except dnd for aoe pulls but i'd "enter combat" using it for max effect. edit: lichborne isnt up and runnign yet, either as anti fear or self deathcoiling but i'm looking into the code for this. as i said certain bosses require conscious thought which a bot cannot really do. i could enter a line to auto-toggle interrupts off in a raid, but then you'd need to manually do it, and as its aimed towards raiding, it seems a bit superfluous. dark sim could be added if i had a list of preferred spells to us it on, but tbh i have 10 85s and dont really have the experience to find out this info. if you compile a list of DSim spells i'll try to incorporate it.
It does so good its insane, 18-20k on bosses with 340ilvl is not to complain at Well I thought of the toggle-thingy thinking of the gladiatore warrior cc which has a gui with it inside as an option. But its good as it is now too. Edited the download folder, now includes Talent specs, glyphs, and in game macros for respeccing. Also includes the installation instructions. Performance is tweaked for each spec, with the addition of PVP cc's for Frost and unholy, suitable for use in Arenas and BGs, with thier own talent specs and glyphs, and macro quick respec in game. Working on: Pestilence fuctionality, Turn to face mechanic for PVE cc's Dark Simulcrum.... thanks amputations for the list, its a good starting point.
