skinning

hi for some reason i can't get honorbuddy2 to skin or even loot a mobs .
can any 1 help me out plz

Tony, he didn't say GB2, he said HB2...

thekartel, what botbase, profile and CC are you using? You'll want to use something that's designed either for skinning or at least for grinding an area that has skinnable mobs... and your CC is what would be used for the actual combat of course...

So... how about some details? ;-)

BTW - just re-read what you said and it sounds like you are killing but not looting and skinning... make sure to open up the Settings and click to enable the Loot and Skinning options.

i have the same problem and im using fpsware hunter and all it does is kill loot then walk away im using Northern Barrens Skinning 60-110 by kritical ive had problems with skinning before and just kinda said forget it but thats one of the only professions i dont have maxed if maybe you could help me out a little bit or point me in the right direction much appreciated

 

im using singular. like before the patch 4.2 on wow came out everything use to work fine but now for some reason my druid kill the mobs loot im but then he run aways. im farming in twilight highland by obsidian forest and i set hb2 to grinding bot .but i cant find the skinning option on grinding like it use to be there .

Actually, your English isn't too bad... I can understand what you're trying to say just fine. So... Being I'm at work and I don't have HB right in front of me the terminology may not be exact... but once you have HB open, you should be able to click on the Settings button. Once that is open, I think you have to click the Advanced options and then in the lower right, you should see a Loot as well as Skinning checkbox. Make sure those are checked.

If that's not close enough, I'll have to wait until I get home to be more specific or someone else can give the exact info.

in grind bot or gatherbuddy2 ?

 

Again, I'm not in front of my home computer right now, but it really comes down to what profile you are using. I would think that the skinning profiles would be using grind bot... so give it a shot and set the Skinning option on and see if it works.

I've figured alot out by trial and error plus a bit of research on here. Of course, there is ALOT I am still learning!

 

ahah alright but i cant find that option in grind bot or gatherbuddy 2 but when ever u got a chance when u get to home to lets me know were to go taht whould be rly nice for now i think ill farm herb ahah

 

When you clicked on the Settings button, did you click Advanced to open up the other panels? If so or if you can't find it, I'll check it when I get home and be more precise... lol

 

Ok, I'm home and can check HB now. What I'm referring to is this:

Once you open Wow and then start HB, make sure you have the profile you want to use selected and then select the bot that works for that profile - I'm guessing Grind Bot or Gatherbuddy2. In either case, once you select that, click the Settings & Tools button. You need to check the Advanced Mode to see the options I'm referring to. Once you select Advanced Mode, in the middle 2nd row you'll see a group title Looting. Make sure Loot Mobs and Skin Mobs is selected. To make sure you're getting all the mobs in the area, you probably want to select Kill Between Hotspots and may have to adjust the pull distance. I have found in some areas that 40-45 works well.

Hopefully that will get skinning working for you.
