Thanks Fish, Appreciate you taking the time to pass along your success story +rep. Best of luck, Bobby53
Bobby, has this been tested much to work in arena's? I was trying to use it on an alt to have it follow me in arena and attack what I attack - no luck. Thanks!
From the first page, first post: 2. All Enemy Targeting controlled by player Lazyraider is not designed for what U wanted it to do. It will not auto attack your target unless you select it yourself (on the lazyraider botted char). I use Lazyraider myself in Arena's and it works just fine here (when I control that char's movement).
Bobby, I'll try to get a log for this problem, but have you noticed that sometimes Lazy Raider won't move the character to the tank until combat is initiated?
Thanks.. btw. Tanking works fine aswell.. Just did a Zul Amani Hero with a friend. He used Dunkatanks Warrior CC. I tanked with iLoveAnimals, and we made the time run - no bear for me.... Warrior: around 27-31k on the last boss / avg 21k over the whole ini Druid: No aggro problems, 13k avg dps througout the ini.. both chars 366 iLvl
Zacharybinx34, Thanks for the post. Most likely, if it is moving when combat is initiated its the CC and not LazyRaider. Please get me a log and I'll resolve. Thanks for the post, Bobby53
Thanks Bobby, I'll try to test it this weekend! Is it possible to make an option for Lazy Raider to force assist whatever the leader is targeting? I'm thinking about arena's and PVP. Keep up the good work!
Yes. Gone until next week, but will look to add for you then. Thanks for the post and suggestion, +rep Bobby53
Thanks Bobby! One further suggestion on this since you are gonna be awesome and put it in When doing 2v2 for example, say double DPS, the goal is to have the bot follow the leader until combat starts. Then we want him to tunnel vision the kill target. Now hard swaps are EXCELLENT and would work perfectly! However, what we don't want is the bot to switch the second the leader targets something else. because for example, with another custom BOT someone made RAF Multibox - when me and the bot were targeting the kill target, I would sometimes quickly alt tab for just a second in order to CC the healer. The problem that occured with the RAF bot was that it would also IMMEDIATLY switch with no hesitation and break my cc - lol! Bummer, CC wasted. Now the RAF Multibox was PERFECT for everything else, I could do hardswaps immediately, I could burst targets hard. But I learned to NOT DARE target anything I didn't want to kill. - which obviously is a HUGE disadvantage because it means you literally CAN"T CC anything by direct targeting, no interrupting, nothing! I'm not sure of what would be the ideal work around for this, but the only thing that comes to mind is putting in a time check on it - the follower will only change targets if a new target is selected for [insert "X" many seconds here] That model is the best I can come up with, but it obviously has 1 draw back which is it removes the quickness of hard swaps - can you think of any other way around it? - I guess in the end, being able to manually set it to a time delay would be best, because I could learn to target what I'm CCing and use my CC and de-target it before the follower changes. The other option that might work ever better, is to only have the follower hard switch after the leader actually does a damaging attacks for more than 1-2 seconds to it - or something along those lines. That would probably be the best idea if its doable. Thanks Bobby!
Hey bobby, i tried using this in BwD last night on ma DK. and HB kept spamming me this: [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 120257 2 things wrong here: First, i had 200k Hp Second, it didnt attack because of this. Log attached. Edit: I normally use this is in random zand without a problem
Zacharybinx34, Most high level arena combatants use mouseover macros rather than changing targets for things such as Interrupt and Crowd Control. Instead of changing your Current Target frame (what was referred to as a hard swap) you only need to mouseover the appropriate enemy and press the key bind you setup. This will work better because you will have complete, immediate, and intentional control of the Current Target being burnt down separate from the targets you interrupt or cc. It is also faster. Similarly, when you do need an immediate change in the current target, there would be no delay in the switch. The macro can be written to suit your taste using only the mouse over target or a combination of that and/or the Focus frame. I can easily put a time delayed switch in place, that isn't your best option for the scenario described. I will still look at adding that as I think the described behavior is well suited for DPS in raids as immediate switches to the tanks target are problematic in trash when the tank is tab targeting. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Arena team, Bobby53 EDIT: If not familiar with mouseover, it refers to only hovering the mouse cursor over the intended target (or its arena frame) without clicking (since clicking would switch your current target.) Sample Mouseover Macro for DK Code: #showtooltip [I]/cast [@mouseover,harm] Mind Freeze; [harm] Mind Freeze[/I]
klovnene, Is this happening every time or was that the only occurrence? There isn't enough debug info for me to determine whats occurring. At a minimum, i'll create a new version of LazyRaider with more output detailing how and why it selected a specific tank so we can get this resolved for you. Thanks for the post, Bobby53
I have a few questions and sorry if they've been answered before or are just dumb. 1. I saw earlier someone was using this for a healer doing 2's. I have 2 accounts, one has a resto druid. Would I just set my other account as the tank to get the druid to heal me in arenas? 2. If I use this on my resto druid to heal za/zg and set it to follow the tank, how AFK would that make it? Would I still have to choose which targets to heal?
Hey Bobby, i tried restarting my HB and same problem occured. I tried a fresh install and same problem occured. Sry <3
