i got it fixed in the new version im working on. so yea, it now also looks for totems, but i still need to test that.
Why is my mage casting so slow? There is like a 8 seconds delay between each spell. Is there a way to fix this? It doesn't matter what spec I'm in it does it anyway.
I'm currently spamming Call to Arms so I can get PvE gear for my Mage. My question is, can I raid with this or should I start learning my rotation instead? Btw, I'm lvl 85. Might be a stupid question but didn't find anything on main post.
Personally I have used this CC only as Frost and only for BG. Arcane didn't work when I tried it, now I have respecced to Fire. Will try a heroic and post how it goes. Edit: can't seem to get it working with Fire either.
Well guys, looks like I might be coming back into the world of botting, so I will be running this profile on my mage, and again will either correct/update or have CodenameG do it, to get this running smoothly for everyone. Anyways, look forward to seeing ya'll again.
Hello. I have a couple of suggestions (bug fixes) : he will cast a frostbolt, then wait a gcd and start cast another, chain casting them would be much faster (new additions to hb test should allow this). he will sheep an add, kill the first one then wait until sheep finishes to kill it, even when no other adds are alive, basically standing there looking at the sheeped add for a long time. if 3 adds, he will sheep an add, then frostnova, this will break the sheep, so it its useless there, however this isnt much problem since add will still stay in nova he will take a long time to nova + turn around + blink, am sure there must be a faster way to do this, maybe turn while nova?
I've come across this issues as frost too, but I think it's a long time since this CC was not updated and it doesn't benefit from the newest changes. Anyways I'm glad it's working as it is, the other 2 specs are not even close. I'm glad more people are gathering to help the mage class that has fallen behind the others
it should be faster now with some of the code changes amoung other things. fixed. never had that problem with frost nova breaking sheeps, its NEVER done that. frostnova and blink should be quick enough.
you know if the other 2 specs are fail then tell me what to do to fix them, im quite frustrated with people telling me my arcane and fire support is complete and utter bullshit, when they fail to help try and resolve the issue or at even fail at giving me any reason why.
Ok, sorry, I thought you know the issues but just didn't have time to work on them. For Arcane I'll tell you from memories since I'm not specced arcane anymore: 1. Didn't use Arcane Blast, at all or at least not as a filler. Used Frostbolt. 2. Used Ice Lance or Fireblast instead of Arcane Barrage. 3. Movement as an arcane mage is important, since you don't have the control of frost. He should run back if the target closes in, blink if in melee range and use the mana shield (knockback glyph is a must) For Fire I wasn't able to make it work. I've tried in PVP and using Lazyrider in heroics and he didn't pull. Even if I manually target he doesn't cast anything.
if you change your spec you have to restart honorbuddy. my guess was you where frost when you started honorbuddy up, then decided to change, HENCE no spell changes. no movement support WILL NOT pull targets for you, if it pulled everything that was targeted you would end up with a mess when you wanted to get ready for a pull. the cc while no movement and lazy raider is on, will only do casting if it has a target and is in combat. so, your issues arent really issues.
I have been building a template location for all of the profiles, CCs, Plugins and Bots that I use so that I can just copy them in when I change versions of HB. Trying to simplify things in the long run. I saw this post by you and figured Great, a new version was just released! I checked the first post and saw the latest version is 1.7.1. I downloaded it and none of the files have been updated recently (going by file dates) and I don't see a SVN. Can we get the update posted please? Thanks!
no, theres more to be done, but people are being vague as shit as to what needs to be fixed, so finding things and re-tooling things like broken rotations is hard to do.
Mate give us the SVN and we will help you debug. Our version is old and I'm sure you don't get the errors we get because you run the modified version already.
