This is happening when you're the tank. I get it everytime I join a dungeon, even tho ignore tank is set to true (can't remember the specific name of the option). A fix is just setting the healer as tank instead..
ripglider, Here are some quick responses. If users have additional insight they wish to share please pile on: 1. Arena: Yes, assuming you are using a CustomClass with support for Resto Druids that should work. 2. ZA/ZG: LazyRaider isn't intended to be used AFK. It's designed to be a Manual Assist Bot where you control the movement and some advanced abilities while it handles the bulk of the rotation for your spec. It has the ability to follow the tank out of combat, so you can be even lazier between fights. The CustomClass should handle healing without having to target or initiate (unlike Combat.) Thanks for the post, Bobby53
ok using latest version of lazyraider and having a issue with it not casting spells at range in ragnaros fight...I have to be almost in the lava for it to cast any spells when the boss is targeted. any ideas on how to extend this range?
SDO1, Thanks for the post. LazyRaider invokes the CC you are using, so if you are in Combat and not casting spells its a CC issue. Please post to the CC authors thread and be sure to attach a complete log file as well as a specific time (local system time, not realm time) or mob name you would like them to review. Bobby53
Dear sir Bobby, I want to thank you for this amazing tool. _O_ You're God! 'Cause now I can do my two favorite things: Smoking cigars and WOW-ing. Kind regards, Rinus4
yes it works also why do you just not try it out for yourself... it will either work or it will not lol.
Im have read all the post, and before i use this. Does it work for Heroics 5 Mans? i see alot about 10man raids and such. I will be using my Hunter, to do Heroics 5man and see how well this work before i use it for any Raids.
I've used it on my resto druid, rogue, pally(tank and ret), warlock, priest, dk, and hunter. In 5 mans, bgs, and raids. Works fine. The part you would have to worry about is the CC. I used it last night on my rogue in ZG with Singular. On the last boss the CC kept making my toon run to the boss when he was doing his bubble, magic attack thing. I died twice from this before I realized it was the CC.
ripglider, Thanks for responding so thoroughly to dragonfire's question with your own successes and challenges! +rep Best of luck with your LazyRaiding! Bobby53
yes, thank you Ripglider. I after reading your post i downloaded Fpsware Hunter, but i dont know is just weird. Alone, i can pull 14-15k. With Lazyraider, and this CC, it wont pass 9k. On top, i can barely have controlled of my toon, it keeps going into the battle and when i want him to pull back, it will just get stuck and die. So i need to figure out why he does that.
Mikkelul, Thanks for the post. I copied the relevant excerpts from the first post in the thread below. Let me know if you have any questions, Bobby53 So when tanking, you manually do the Pull and LazyRaider will invoke the CustomClass to perform the rest of the spell casting and Add targeting needed. You're experience will vary depending upon the Custom Class (CC) you use. Some like Singular will automatically detect the mob with the lowest threat and target it. Others will let you choose the target and beat the crap out of it until you switch targets. You'll want to read up on the specifics of your CC if you have questions about its behavior with LazyRaider before using it. Good luck with your tank, Bobby53
I'm not sure what spec you are but try a different CC. I switched from Survival to Marks because I thought the CC's options worked better. I just ran Bowman, FelMarksman, and myself on the target dummy for 3 minutes each. Bowman did 13.8k with no CD's, FelMarksman did 15.9k with CD's, I did 14.9k with CD's. I'm not sure how I was outdone but whatever.
LazyRaider did used to allow dismounting. It was specifically requested numerous times to have the Bot not invoke the CC when mounted to prevent it from auto dismounting. The reason is that when using LazyRaider, if it auto-dismounts whenever someone needs a heal then you have no ability to run past a fight to a PVP objective that requires healing (think of riding through the choke in AV trying to get to a tower or boss.) The best thing for you to do for now is not dismount but when you notice healing needed (by the raid frames) target one of them and cast Riptide. That will cast a heal and cause a dismount with 1 key press. Instead of an option requiring user selection, I believe I'll check how long the character has been standing still. If its > 1 second then he'll heal nearby friendlies (which will cause a dismount), otherwise its likely he's moving towards something of importance and he'll ignore those nearby friendlies and remain mounted. Thanks for the post and good luck with your PVP toon, Bobby53
Wow. That was the brightest answer I ever had. Thank you so much! Just one last thing: The bot will check how long the character has been standing still and dismount and heal already, or it is an option that will probably occur later on? In any case, that's wonderful. I apologize if I sound a little odd but english is not my native language. Thank you again for your time, availability and politeness.
