I've been watching the 1-60 horde leveling profile run for a while and I keep noticing a pally followin me around. He doesn't speak he just kills the same mobs as me, usually targeting mobs after i've attacked them. Moved from South barrens to Ashenvale at some point while I was at dinner and now I see him once again. I've sent him messages and such but no reply... I could tell he was using the same profile since I saw him. How often do you guys see this kind of thing when you watch the bot run?
Alot. If you are using the public profiles you ARE GONNA GET REPORTED. How much we wanna pretend we are a community of botters etc. The majority of reports that comes in is made by ppl that are using or have used bots themselves. Sad truth.
"Don't ever whisper another botter" @Mario Honestly, how would you know their a botter and not following you to investigate then report you. at first Whispering is a good thing...
u know that if u watch by doing the same spels i bot for 3 years now im expierence botter and i never talk to anyone ingame i always reached 80 while im botting my chars and he said there is a paladin that bots at the same spots as me and he whispered him the paladin and he never talked back why should he whisper him he knows that he is botting and hes botting to he should not whisper him and i dont care if some one is in the same spot as me killing mobs like im doing to i just never react to anyone and just get to 80
The thing I like, reporters that are botters themselves usually get what they deserve. You think blizz doesnt know that we cut eachothers throats? They will investigate both accounts. If I see another botter I leave them be, if they report me, then chances are they will get banned themselves so at least they get a slice of the pie.
i never reported another botter those who are doing that are little childeren what cant stand that some one is taking a mob of their i dont care even if there where 100 botters at my spot i never would whisper one but im on a verry low pop server but the best thing is to let them alone i know that but its stupid that some people do that they are risking their own account to
I've noticed a botter that ive ran into. Using the EXACT same path as me lol. So, anyone named ********** and your a night elf druid. . . . I'm watching you
I've only reported spam on gold sellers in trade. I have never reported a botter, and probably never would either. I've seen several of them before I even learned about HB, and before I would have thought I'd bot myself. I'm a jerk in many ways, but not in this manner, hehe.
Reporting gold sellers is wrong to they are botting to the same like you what wanna make some money of the game
/shrug. I don't report them botting. I report them sending me whispers and spamming trade. I right click and select "report spam." I also report everybody that hits their LFG macro twice in a row too.
I saw a botter, hes level 80 and left his bot on Scholar Bazin for over a week straight now. Rather pointless, if you're on Aggramar and your name begins with War, STOP BOTTING.
I almost never see another toon running the same profile as me. Using the public ones since the begining... I saw a guy killing mobs next to me one, spoke to him, he asked me if i wanted to quest with him
I like to mess with botters occasionally, e.g. wait til they target a mob then tag it with an instacast so they kill it and I get credit, but I would never report one. The golden rule applies even to WoW.
Tbh i think hes business is hes own, if he wants to bot alot he can do it. No point trying to stop him
I've only ever seen one other botter. He was in Sholazar killing apes. I guess his bot didn't support PVP because I killed him about 20 times before I got bored and left.
