There are some plugins that are up to date and current that are not showing up in my plugins.

In this case in particular, BuddyCenter and LogMeOut are not showing up in the Plugins when installed. Recompile nor fresh installs worked.

      Any help greatly appreciated.

i hate this solution too :) but cleaning up the directories (from older installs) doesn't lead to the desired result
and copying the settings to the new directory often leads to more problems too (if the demolished version of HB is too old)

Total fresh install, reinstalled plugins, still getting bad errors. Plugins still not working.

What I do is have a template directory where I keep updated plugins, profiles, CCs etc - they have never been run from that directory, they are just downloaded and moved there. Then for each new HB install, I install fresh and then copy the plugins, profiles, CCs etc into the new install folders. Makes it a bit faster than having to remember everything you're using and getting the latestest download - again. lol
