Auth servers down?

Hello, I haven't been able to log for about 14 hrs now, since yday 15:00 PM, and been wondering if the auth servers are down or is it just me?
I'm getting the same old message:

Unable to connect to auth
Auth server might have temporarily crashed
Try again in 5 minutes

Waiting for replys

 

no, the auth servers should be up. no one else is having problems. have you tried restarting your modem, and computer and such to just clear out the caching that routers tend to do.
also try flushing your DNS and see if that helps.
How to Flush DNS

 

Tried all of the above and none of them worked... thanks for the reply tho.

well i know the auth server is up, im botting right now. so its gotta be a routing issue.

 

if you're at a school or government place of employment - then you prob can't get through their firewall

if it's a home connection, either call your isp, or open the ports in your firewall / router

we use ports 5031

 

I'm at home, and tried opening 5031 port but still wouldn't work.
Just clueless atm what the hell could be wrong... =/

 

if you have windows 7 or vista, try turning off the firewall on the machine. if you have another machine you can test on, you can eliminate the idea that its machines specific, and then you know its a routing issue with your isp.

 

What do you mean with that?
And replying codename, I've tried offing firewall and such but doesn't work.
And Honorbuddy worked just fine yday morning, but then suddenly it just quit working after a disconnect around midday.

 

I have exactly the same problem as you have right now!

The buddy has been working perfectly for over a week.

I left the bot on tuesday night (as it would close botting wednesday morning with the EU realm maintainance) when i tried to log on the next afternoon (wednesday) i also saw the "cant connect to auth server, 5 mins etcetc" .

Have been having it since then. Also on my 2nd computer (on same network).

Tried resetting router and modem, flushing DNS, disabling windows and router firewall, allowing honorbuddy through the machine firewall, reinstall; but no success sofar.
We got Telia as IPS (Sweden provider)

Very strange that it works one day, and dies the next day without a reason
Would love to hear more ideas about how this could happen, and how to resolve it.

I have the same problem aswell. It did work at tuesday, but not at wednesday or today ;/

 

Might want to try a fresh install of the most updated HB.

 

What error do you get if you have some of these problems, let's say the port block?

I just got scrolled after quitting in Wrath and wanted to try this again. However, my old user name and password are being rejected by this HBII thing. Did something happen to the old lifetime accounts or am I suffering another error? "Invalid account details".

 

The problem we are dealing with is:

aka: we dont even get a login screen popping up, just straight the white box with the above mentioned text.

and i did try a clean install of the latest version aswell (HB 2.0.0.5354).
