I think this will be a fabulous idea. I as well think it will add to the value of Honorbuddy. However, I myself do not have the experience in coding CC's to do this. The most I can do is figure out errors from logs and edit profiles, Lol. SO! What I can do to help is provide people the rotations/priorities need for every class and spec in order to create such CC's. I can as well test them out along with the community. I hope some CC maker likes this idea enough to create one. It will save me and the community lots of hours when we just don't feel like mashing buttons but, want that shiny loot ;D Thanks, xLegendx
Lazy raider (Some CC's already have a lazyraider option) Only problem is the CC's never seem to spam the spells (OR the bot) so there is a slight delay that adds up. If it's just for raiding i would recomend google'ing PQRotation
Yes, but some CC's aren't really good DPS wise. Amazing for leveling though. Lol. And PQRotation seems to give me errors sometimes. Hopefully, that gets fixed. Also sometimes, they don't have my spec....
Look into Felmaster and Felhunter CCs...I use both for raiding/instances and I am at the top of the charts 99 percent of the time. Those are the two best for endgame imo
I think the main problem of these "Fel....." CCs is, that they are not multilingual. Even if most of the people play on english client, there are still many who use another language. And i also think a raiding cc needs some options... I would help to write some part of a raiding CC but first of all I need some help in C#. Getting some errors in my CC (Bowman) which I cant fix atm because i'm too stupid
wish pqrotations would be part of HB I know they say it only spams every 1/1000 second so it can't be detected. until bliz decides to look.
same for me..i'm always sceptically when it comes to hacks by someone...have seen a lot of hacks and also a lot of them got banned in no time. But there are possibilities to have this done with hb. I've seen cc's where you can tick "disable movement" so you just move and hb does the damage part.
from what I saw in their forms everyone was making rotations. Not sure how good they were, they said they were raid level stuff. also not hard to change all of this is just what I read not what I have tried. I don't see how it could work on some classes. Arcane mage, you have to use gems and enerverate at the correct time as well as spam explosion and decide when to finish your rotation so its a lot more then some simple rotation for MAX damage. and them movement can force you to start over etc.
I've tried the mage and hunter-rotation for PQR but all it does for mage is do its rotation, then stop. No continuously rotation that is. Im sticking with lazyraider.
I have tried it and Im using it on my DK and warrior atm, and its insanely accurate with everything. Pretty smooth to just change from aoe-mode to singletarget (boss fights) with just a keypress too. And the program doesnt soak any memory at all it seems. Also it has a function where you type in a spellname and add it to a list and the bot will only interrupt those casts that are in the list, its really comfortable.
There are a bunch of cc's that you can raid with.... But honestly, none of them are that great. It's nigh impossible to create a DPS CC that can mirror or do better than a human being. There are too many variables, such as movement/distance/threat/general strategy among a multitude of other things which it makes it hard for the bot to compensate. Some type of rotation helper that is VERY limited would be great... something that you can turn on and off (or pause) as you please. However, this probably conflicts with HB since you can only turn it on or off and that locks my wow up 90% of the time lol. Healing is a different story though, due to the reactive nature of it, and bots excel at it. A bot can react better than a human and thus heal better, but proactive a bot cannot be unless given instructions. That's the primary issue with raid/dps cc's..... just look at how many raid healing CC's (that are excellent) there are compared with how many excellent raid dpsing CC's there are. I think there used be a great DK raid CC..... and this just proves my point since much of their dps comes from combos and dot's which are very easy for a bot to work with....still though, i don't think it exists anymore.
Actually, I believe the Fel... CCs are coded in such a way so that you can change whatever you want pretty easily. So, there are options, you just need to go in and change whatever the hell you want.
If you have a shadow priest I challenge you to use Altarboy. I'm at the top of the meters every raid and have been using it full time since Firelands came out.
