Cvtres.exe can not be executed. Why does HB need that? Why do I need visual whateveritnamewas thingie on computer to HB to work properly? If you do google search for cvtres.exe, there is also info about Aladin Trojan, now it might be false positive, but I blocked the exe anyway "just in case" with my firewall. Yes it sounds like foolish, but so far no problems have been with the computer for so and so days, until I started HB. Hb gives error that it cannot execute the DLL files in CompiledHonorbuddyAssemblies becose it cant execute cvtres.exe Now the thing is, does HB realy need that exe that much? Does HB use it as native or have I somehow got my everysingle HB plugin / cs file infected, that would be very unlikely.
no, hb is self contained, and really should only be using the .net framework, its sounds like something else is going on.
lol, I have downloaded HB form only this forum. cvtres.exe location is, in path C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 So its using the .Net
Seeing as cvtres is part of the .net framework, nothing else is going on.... TS; if you've done anything with cvtres then I suggest you undo that because that's probably the cause of your issue.
Did nothing else than block it with firewall and HB started causing errors, lesson learned, dont do it ^^
