Stevenbrett, Sorry for your issues and thanks for taking the time to post. I can't tell from the description what you referred to when you say you "extracted it." At this point two steps for you to following:

1. Read and follow the instructions shown in the 5. How do I install ShamWOW? section of the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] . There is also a file named INSTALL.TXT included in the .ZIP you downloaded with that information.

2. If you still have problems, please see ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] topic #1 for a template to copy/paste and steps on attaching a complete debug log. You'll want to do this every time you encounter some unexpected behavior for the quickest and most helpful response.

Is there any way to stop the cc from auto training skills?
It keeps going back to org to auto train but it keeps getting stuck and i want to disable it

 

Not CC issue. You should:
1) disable training in HB settings
2) or/and disable training part in questing profile. Just find TrainNewSkills="True" and change to TrainNewSkills="False"

@saga318: Please see ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] topic #1 for a template to copy/paste and steps on attaching a complete debug log. You'll want to do this every time you encounter some unexpected behavior for the quickest and most helpful response. In your case the debug log would show the settings you have in effect, the Bot name in use, and the profile name loaded so a very specific and accurate answer as to why it is happening to your character rather than generalizations as to the different causes of your character going to train. The only thing I would add to surfer999's explanation is that some Questing profiles explicitly code a trip to train/sell/repair. You'll only know that is the case for you if you follow surfer999's suggestions and it still tries to train. If you continue to have issues, you'll want to post in the Support thread as its either an HonorBuddy, Bot, or Profile issue. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

 

When i start Shamwow (not the default one) with Archaeologybuddy i get this error meassage.

Shamwow 4508 + Lazy Raider

HonorBuddy Mode: Grind/PVP/Mixed/Quest/RaF
Lazy Raider
Shamans Location:

What should have happened (be specific):
Clicking start button on Honorbuddy should start the bot
What did happen (be specific):
After clicking start, the button doesn't change to stop. and fails to startup
System time of issue (log time stamp):
21:34

I know my I am running it out of a folder named 5198. But I have been using the update feature of honorbuddy to use the most current version. If I roll back to ShamWow 4506 LazyRaider runs okay.

I have the same problem with ShamWow 4508 as I do with ShamWow 4507.

I really enjoy using this custom class. I have attached my log. Thanks for the work you do.

not sure what the issue is and I dont have a log so that might just be shooting myself in the foot here to even post, anyone else having an issue in pvp where the shaman runs PAST the person like 20 yards then turns around and runs back at them? I am running an enhance shaman and didnt notice this in pve, just pvp. Anyone else having this issue?

This file seems to not exist (or is not readable) when u run 4508.

 

udgrendel: The problem is that ShamWOW is only partially installed. The message:

[9:38:57 PM:121] Error: global config file not found: 'C:\Users\Chris\Desktop\Honorbuddy 2.0.0.5198\CustomClasses\Config\ShamWOW.config' 

indicates that the file Config\ShamWOW.config provided in the .ZIP was either not extracted or not placed in the correct location.

It is a required file, so beginning with 4.5.07 ShamWOW the bot will now halt if the file is not found. Versions earlier to this would attempt to run but experienced a lot of errors which is why you are seeing a difference with 4.5.06 (and also a lot of errors in the log attached.)

To correct, re-download ShamWOW and follow the steps in the INSTALL.TXT included in the .ZIP making sure you extract the ShamWOW folder AND the Config folders.

Any time you run HonorBuddy a log file file is created and remains on your system until you delete it. If you encounter this behavior again, quickly look at the time shown on your system then post an issue as described and I will look into it for you. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Just want to thank you for maintaining and keeping this CC up to date.

Also managed for the first time last night to do a full BoT and Throne of the Four Winds with zero wipes. Im impressed . Also it was pugged.

maybe I am wrong but looks like the CC can't cast Lifeblood (from herbalism), giving a SpellCastFail on the log, around 1.59.

Plus, a similar SpellCastFail error is from some attempts to cast Hex on the second log, with the result that Hex is never casted.

Tama, Thank you for the complete debug logs. Note that when using LazyRaider in a PVP scenario you will see spellcast failure messages. These will occur because of the user moving while ShamWOW was in the process of casting, or the user casts while a GCD or spellcast is already in progress. Those messages appear in the log as a result of any spellcast failure and not just casts attempted by ShamWOW. Additionally, ShamWOW attempts to cast can be impacted by the user attempting to cast or move. This is just the nature of a hybrid manual assist bot such as LazyRaider.

After looking at the log files, here is what I found:

04-11-2011_2.15 1996 Log.txt
No Lifeblood casts in this one. There are also no Hex casts although there are numerous failures. It appears to be due to the user attempts to cast Hex that fails for some reason (character stunned, casting in progress, GCD active, ... .) To better support user casting of Hex, use a macro and be sure to include a /stopcasting command as the first operable line. It won't help with attempts to cast Hex during a GCD, but will correctly handle if you cast it during another cast.

This log shows a number of attempts to cast Hex. They are all expected from what I can see or the result of a user cast. Several were interrupted because ShamWOW was trying to cast while moving. I'll fix this in the next version as its related to disabling the 'stop moving' command when used with Lazy Raider. There does appear to be an issue with attempting to cast instant spells too quickly, which is impacting the use of Lifeblood. I will look into that further.

Just tried using this for the first time. I've run 3 instances as Resto - love it.

However I made two notes...

(1) It never casted Healing Rain
(2) It seems to be getting locked up occasionally. Sometimes the cursor turns into the 'click a person' blue curson and stops healing until I click on a player

Any thoughts on this? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks Bobby, it's more clear now. I thought the log would report only the CC cast attemps/failure ignoring the user spell cast.
It's strange that Lifeblood was never automatically casted by ShamWow, because there were plenty of situation where it could had been casted, so I have to cast it by myself manually all the time. Is it a bug?

 

CC is amazing for resto, I clear heroics easily and I raid it, but I'm wondering what kind of DPS people are seeing in Elemental gear
