What is this "Loremaster"?
The 'Loremaster' achievement is one of the most time intense achievement whitch you can get in the World of Warcraft.

For this Title you have to do ~6000 Quest in ALL Areas (Classic, BC, WotLK, Cataclysm)


What makes this Profiel?
This profile helps you to get this title, and makes nearly all of the needed Quest's.
We're currently on the development of this Profiels, but we hope that we can release the single parts fast one after another.

This Profile is not Only written by me, else it uses some parts of other existing Profiles.

Before you hate me
If we release a new part, we would tell you when we used parts of another profile. And thank the author of this

If you see the bot stopped in the middle of nowhere and doing nothing, AND there are NO errors in the log/navigation log, please DON'T stop it and try to do things manually!!

Settings for running the profiles

LearnFlightpaths: On
Loot Mobs: On
Train New Skills: Off
UseFlightpaths: Off (the flights are coded into the profile)
Mail Recipient - A great idea to enable this, since you'll get loads of crap, that it won't sell.
Kill between Hotspots: Off (If you want to Level turn it On)


Things you need to know before running
Because this is my first Questing-Profile, i couldn't begin to rewrite all quest how i can get from another

Although I myself come from Germany, I use the english WoW client.
Should you try to use it with another client, I don't know if it works! But maybe you can tell me

This Profile will be hostet on Github. If you don't know how you can download it, write me or use the Github Help.

How do I install and use it?

Download & Install Git
Go to my Github Area
Copy the Profile Parts in your Buddy Folder
Start the Buddy
Load the Profile: [H] The Loremaster Classic or any other
Start the Bot

You Can get alot of quests already done with Azenius project. I have already used alot of those quests for my loremaster.

Why not just post it when it's done? Just curious.

 

Because people can start doing the quests now, and complete it as soon as the last profile is out. That way we won't wait 2 weeks after release for him to fix ALL the profiles before anyone actually uses them.
Basically they are getting fixed as each is released. Makes it much easier for the dev also.

 

Thanks for starting this project, this is one of the few things id love to see complete on my chars!

Hi,

This looks like a good project so I thought I'd offer what I have. I've been making very simple and untested profiles for some of the areas in which I have not got enough quests from using the available profiles.

These profiles only contain the bare minimul and will need to be refined (a lot) but most of the content is there for you to play with if you want. (seems I prefer to write a profile than actually play wow :/ )

For anyone other than the devs of this project, do not use these profiles unattended!

Oh awesome, I've been doing some work similar to this (based on Kicks profiles where possible to save time, so I'm not sure if he's okay with me posting them publicly? I tried PM'ing, but he has them turned off). Anyway, I take it you're working on EK first? In that case, I might finish up Outlands next, and post them here if I get Kick's permission. My codings fairly awful - in that I have no experience coding outside of this - but it seems to work, with occasional interaction...mostly for my tauren, who loves getting stuck everywhere he can.

I just tried both 100% profiles from github, but when i go to launch them, i get the following error:

The 'link' start tag on line 27 does not match the end tag of 'head'. Line 33, position 5.

It's a pretty good question seeing as he is releasing his project with about 12% done. I mean it's a good piece of work but it would be much better if everything was released at once instead of just showing future progress.

 

R you sure he is releasing the actual profile with 12% done and not just updateing the progress on it in this post? I mean i doupt he would release a QO with 12% done, cus that would mean it would have about 5 quests in it most of the times...

 

For the progress of Loremaster the given profiles in this pack, are roughly about 8-14% for the achievement to date.
Not saying it isn't good work and work that personally I would avoid doing; I just like seeing finished results and not barely started ones.

 

With this Profile which im soooo happy about as im 11k+ achievemnt points and questing is mainly the thing i have left ...Ive done some quest in each area will this affect the profile, will this profile be able to run around the fact ive done some quests in that area already?
