May i ask one thing about navigation? Does it take you through a zone by the shortestes path? or through roads? because shortest path is not always safer, you could run in to higher level mobs. Ps: sorry if someone already asked/answered this, as i run through all pages i havent found it.
Originally it was shortest path, but its since been changed to give roads higher priority than the shortest route.
An option to choose between maybe? I know how fail it looks when in AV you see all the botters run the path on the first corner (as horde) near one of the towers. Shortest route would be nice there.
I'm thinking about the PvPing. Is it possible that we can make a big Hotspot i.e. for WSG. So we dont need more Hotspots? I mean: You make in your Profilejust one Big Hotspot which overtakes the whole map and let it run.. and implement that the bot should attack the nearest foe... i mean he avoids ever obstacle.. so he would have no problem to ream any mob/foe
This doesn't really make sense. A waypoint (or hotspot) is just a single point in the x/y/z map of the game. You can't make a hotspot bigger or smaller. You can set a series of hotspots that form a circle over a large area, though.
I haven't really read into HBv2 all that much, but this is my jist of the new NavSystem: The WoW game area (The world, Map, what ever you wish to call it) is pre-mapped out by the NavSystem, meaning all a profile will need is a co-ordinate and it can merrily find its own way without difficulty, or am I wrong?
We just need MOAR elite pvpers which all know how to handle c++ writing a really good pvp cc for every class would take quite a few month and requires major knowledge about wow itself (playstyles, reacting to stuff, psychology of the enemy, basic tactics), its api, the hb-basis-bot, coding etc etc etc. imo we should just settle with the cc's that are available and enjoy them as long as they work.
Another Question: What about a "sight-detection"? I mean that the bot could detect whether there is a obstacle in sight or not. So that Casters no more cast when the mob gets behind a obstacle.. would it be hard to code? I mean there will be a Mesh which nows where obstacles are an where not. So HB just needs to draw a "sight-line" between my char and the foe. Would be very interesting for PvP, because humans are thinking more flexible as NPCs^^ I think you've all heard about Athene : The best Pala of the World? xD He said that you just need to go "shff round a corner" and the cast will be broken xD
