I have this error for a couple of weeks now, Re-installed .net no effect probleem is i have no clue what the cause is. since this is more or less a windows error i have no clue if there is actualy a problem with honorbudy i tried to acces the msn support so people could have a look but it dus not seem any one is ever online there. things i have done: 1. reinstall dot.net 2. fresh install honorbuddy 3. run in admin mode and without. 4. run with and without wow running. 5 pulled the hairs out of my head
windows 7 @kickz thats the point there is no error log dir is empty honorbuddy gets killed it looks be windows this the only info i get witch is useless i think. Ok so Tony had a look we both figured it must be Dot.net aftherall. And indeed it was windows has been running for quite some time still need reinstall it though but to lazy to do that now. steps taken to resolve it without re install windows (witch it the hardcorefix): 1. deinstall dot.net 3.51 via control panel windows (add remove default install pards of windows 2th tab from top) 2. remove all instances of addons (in my case 4 was installed) from software managment in control panel 3. run the cleaner in an other post forgot url maybe Tony want to relink it here ? 4. reboot. 5. only and only but dot.net 3.51 back via control panel do not install it from the windows website. This fixed it for me.
I have the same problem - have tried all the fixes in the posts above - but I can not get HB to even run - this is on Win 7 x 64 - just downloaded newest HB again last night..... Help Pls - no log file is generated to post
no, i can not get it to run on 2 different systems both are win7 64bit, one is a brand new dell laptop
