Blizzard ( Blizzards german lawyer ) asked for an deadline extension till 23th of November 2011, so we would have their answer earliest in December.

Blizzards Anwaltskanzlei hat eine Fristverl?ngerung bekommen, zum 23.11.2011, somit rechnen wir mit einer Antwort nicht vor Anfang Dezember.

I doubt they are short on info... they just want more time to complete their reply.

Ha! I think they want a extension so they can come up with more bull shi* to throw at you.

I Dont think they have a leg to stand on, and i think they know this as well i bet they were just hoping to scare you and make you roll over but you keep putting up a good fight i don't think they will bother wasting their legal expenses.

Blizz will win, thats why developers keep going to rift bot design. You saw what happened to Glider? it will happen. Blizzard is a huge company compared to a extremely small one. I love this bot but one day in the next year or so... it will be gone.

Fact is what HB/Pirox is doing is NOT illegal in Germany and unless Blizzard invests a shitload of money to build up a serious lobby (which is not impossible and if I were Blizzard I would consider this) to change german law they SHOULD not win this.
On the other hand this whole thing might take years until they will reach a final conclusion and considering that certain judges in Germany like to do weird stuff we might see something crazy happening in the next few months. But if Bossland & co. goes to full length and won't accept any out-of-court solution we will soon be seeing HB/GB/Pirox back to their normal states.
Although if Blizzard loses I bet you we will see banwaves and stronger warden-protection come back...

International laws apply to both Germany and the US, that is where blizz is standing their ground.

typical us world conquerer sentence.....WE in europe have our own laws and we dont need any AAA notation from us bankers or whatever "i take all the money from poorest to buy me a new car and my psy". So let Blizzard play and let federal german governement kick their ass.

International laws are for human rights or international diplomatic issues, not for copyright ones.

Blizzard sued Bossland in Germany, not in US. If they'll loose in Germany, I think their next move will be to try to forbid the sales in the US (suing Bossland in the US), which can be easily cirumnavigated (in case) just using an European proxy (thus: US people could continue buying the software).

As far as I know there is no software patent in Europe, while there is in the US, and this makes a big difference.

They request an extension, but as Boss said, earliest answer would be December sometime.
