I was recently looking into RAF leveling, and it seems pretty appealing. I assume I would get a mule account( one that I would go out and recruit at my own expense ), that continue to make a character on it and a character on my main account and that begin being boosted through instances from a buddy.

Anyone have any experience doing this, I figure I would buy up to TBC and just get as many 70's as possible as a headstart before botting. Anyone know if an 85 can successful run through outlands instances solo?

If anyone has done this could you provide a little insight into the methods to make it the most efficient, I could powerlevel the mule with my main, but it would be costly to transfer characters.

I have 5 accounts total, my main and 4 others which are tied to account 1 (main) and I have been doing just fine. You can go to 80 now with RaF. It's awesome!

what I did when I boosted myself in wotlk:

      1-15 level
15-25 Stockade (nice little break between after 5 instances due to max 5 per hour)
      25-40 SM
      40-50 ZF
      50-58 stratholme
58-64 Hellfire instances (take both so it goes faster due to 5 resets per hours, bla bla)
64+ I usally levelled myself, so ye ;p

note: As far as I remember they changed the lvl requirement to the instances so you might not even be able to enter them at those lvls I just said, so doublecheck it on wowhead or something if you're gonna do this to see what the minimum lvl is to enter, because im pretty sure they changed it in cataclysm.

You can most definitely solo outlands instances at lvl 85; I do it often for easy 300g an hour just from vendoring all the shit.
Advice: Roll a prot pally. Makes everything cake. You can prolly pull half the instance at once.
Another bot i used to use....had an instance farming bot built in. I would make like 10k a day (per account) farming blood furnace. So it really is a lucrative way to make some gold, plus it doesn't attract attention to you from AH posts/C.O.D's. I feel it really helps to keep your farmers "out of the spotlight" just because of the fact that you aren't involved in any trades with anyone, or having to post 1000 auctions because your farmer's guild bank is stuffed full of ores and herbs. That is the shit that gets your account flagged and then leads to a ban (90% of the time for "abuse of the economy").
But I know Raphus is rewriting InstanceBuddy and I have this hope/dream we will be able to solo-afk-farm an instance in the new version.

Ok, I would be simultaneously dual boxing both accounts but the characters i would keep would only be on the main account. I figured I would rush as many characters I could in the 90 day period to 70 and just take it from there botting.

Anyone know if an 85 can solo all instances in wrath? I wouldnt think so

I've done a number of Cata Regs with my Huntard Specced for BM Tanking/Extreme Solo. I'd imagine a pally/DK tank would walk through them with ease. So Wrath Heroics are most certainly doable.

Yes I recently done RAF 1-81 and 81-85 myself in a matter of 1 day 19 hours played time, it is EXTREMELY good and worth using, best if you Duel-Box Bot, Have a friend play with you or you can have one follow the other etc.
