I recently had to reformat my entire computer. I backed up Honorbuddy and have since reinstalled it. It's loading up, but now I don't have my Key preloaded into it. I registered my Shop email on the Key based system to manage my key for it and was able to retrieve it, however I'm getting an "Invalid account details" message. I never had to use a username before and don't know what I'm supposed to put in there now. I've tried every username I could think of to make it work. Can anyone walk me through were I might have gone wrong to get it working again? ..or perhaps clear my understanding of how it's supposed to work? After looking at it again, it's asking me for my Shop username. I have no idea what that is. How can I find this username? I don't remember making any kind of account or receiving emails from the Gate2shop website.
you dont want a username since you are not a username based user register on auth portal Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal using the email you used on shop and you will able to track your key
I've registered with the Auth portal Home page and am able to track my key, however when I start Honorbuddy, it gives me an "Invalid Account Details" message when I try to use just the Key. When I put it in the password section, it asks for my "Shop" user name. ...any other way I try to log in with "just" the key doesn't work.
Thanks for your help so far. However, I'm having a new issue. After logging into the Auth Portal Home to manage my key, I no longer see the key there. ...has something happened?
I registered with Auth portal the other day using my Shop email and was able to see my key yesterday. I've slept since then and fixed my .NET Framework issues that were preventing me from using Honorbuddy. After getting your previous advice of not using Copy+paste (which was what I was doing before), when I go to the Auth portal to get my key so I can manually enter it....it's not there! ..perhaps for more clarification: I CAN log into the Auth Portal and see my account. I CANNOT see my Key under the Keys section.
Are you asking what my email is that I used on the Shop website? ...because I never received an email after purchase.

looks like you used the email Drak**********mp@*******.com(letters are hidden for your safety) register a new acc using that email
