Account Name: ************* Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks") This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game. Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Blizzard Support The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure. If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website https://us.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. Honorbuddy 2)If so, when was the last time?: Earlier today, around 5pm. 3)What profile were you using?: botanist_uldum-80-85_grind.xml 4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: fpsware Hunter 5)What plugins are you using?: AutoEquip2, Bug Submitter, ProfessionBuddy, Questhelper - ItemForAura, Refreshment Detection, Talented 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: I was leveling this toon 1-85. I'd say I was botting as much as possible. I'd say 18 to 24 hours a day. I'd let it run, but most of the times over night, the bot or wow would crash and by the time I'd get up, I would have been logged off for like 5-6 hours. 6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? I'd honestly say about 70% of the time. I currently am not working and have NOTHING else to do, lol. So I dual box WoW's and constantly watch it to make sure it's not stuck or to be certain people would not send me a tell in game. Only time it was not supervised mainly was during my sleep, which was like after 5 or 6am. 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: None on this account. 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No. 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No. 10)EU or US realm? US Realm
Question - Should I try to open a ticket on my other account? This account of mine was from a friend at work who no longer played the game. He gave me his account and I just took over the payments, so of course, my name to my main account is different from his account. Do I risk getting banned on my other account too? I bot on both, on the same PC, and obviously same IP address. This account was temp banned from apparently grinding most likely from 83-85. I think somebody probably reported me. What was weird though, is I stupidly sent thru the mail system, about 5,000 gold from my main account to this suspended one, and I never got it and then when I took a nap and came back, I got this email from Blizzard. What do you all think?
i mean you could try and claim hacks. i dont really see the harm in it. its already lost, and its not like they are going to ban your new account for sending in a ticket.
What do you mean I lost the account? It says it's a 72 hour temp suspension. You think it's lost for good?
oh, sorry i thought it was a ban, if its just a suspension just wait it out, and consider making your own profile, running public ones for hours and hours isnt a good idea.
Is there a tutorial in how to create your own profile? I already opened a ticket thru blizzard's site. Should I cancel it and just wait the 72 hour temp suspension?
just cancel and wait the suspension out, its better NOT to draw attention to your self, you dont want a Gm looking at that account, because it will be evident what your doing and it will escalate to a perma. as for guides, theres some in the guides section and theres tons of information in the wiki.
Well good news...Before I could even click "cancel" on that open ticket, Blizzard responded to me and removed the temp suspension. With them doing that, will this specific account still have a ding on it? I'm happy to be lucky
