Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension Offense: Unapproved Third Party Software A third party program is any file or program that is not a part of the World of Warcraft software, but is used to gain an advantage in the game, such as increasing your movement speed or teleporting from one place to another beyond what is allowed by game design. It also includes any programs that obtain information from the game that is not normally available to the regular player or that transmit or modify any of the game files. Normally, this classification does not include UI modifications, except those UIs that require an external application to function. Any external applications that are used in conjunction with World of Warcraft can cause quite a few unwanted side effects. Some of the major possible results of the use of third party programs can be instability of the game to the point that a player "crashes" from the game quite often. External programs can also be used to transmit viruses, spyware, and other unwanted programs into a player's computer. Third party programs can also be used to obtain information from the player's computer, such as account, password, and personal information.
Got a reply pretty fast with the standard action will not be reversed verbiage. Still says 72 hours ban, is it best to fight it or just wait out the 72 hours?
I got one last week and went to battle.net in my account and fought it. It took them about 45-1hour to respond and they reversed it. They said the main reason why they reversed it was because my account was in good standing. Not sure what you'd want to do. But if you fight it, be sure to sound like a real person and not a chinese farmer. Sound proper and not like they do - retarded. Other then that, good luck mate!
don't fight it, just wait. its better not to draw more attention to your account then what needs to be.
This. That was my exact thinking when I got my suspension the other day. If they hit you it's because they watched you and they're 1000% sure you botted. IMHO just leave it at that, make sure your profiles run smoothly and hope for better luck next time.
Yeah I left it alone after the first appeal. It happened when I ran to the corner store. Wish I had a chat log to see if i was whispered.
Well, in your situation, I would agree with the two other replies. Because this is your second offense, I would wait out the 72 hours. However, I do not honestly think they know you were "botting 1000%" because if they were that sure, I'm sure they would have perma banned you. Just saying...
I looked at the HB log and this was definitely a player report. I was fighting 'hunter' and 'pet' for about 20 minutes. Then I see unstuck routines followed by a disconnect.
