Im gonna try to keep calm here. Basically cant get any profiles to work on this bot. Im frustrated by how vague everything on this website is. Any form or instructions that I come across are so brief and vague that it gets me nowhere. So instead of going on and on and on about how much of a headache this program has been for me, ill give an example and hopefully someone can point out in English what the problem is.

All i can get to work is the pvp bot for battlegrounds, which usually glitches and runs into walls, and if not walls it charges solo into the biggest group of enemy players and gets ganked in .2 seconds. So I decided to attempt to figure out how to get a lvling profile to work. Go to profiles<alliance<80-85 ect. Find one called "seachamps hijal 80-82 grind" so I start the program and load that profile in "grind bot".......

Please wait a few seconds while Honorbuddy initializes.

So basically the bot runs near the elementals and then stands there doing absolutely nothing, until one of the elementals gets close enough to me to aggro, and kills me without my toon doing anything, it just stands there..... No matter what profile I use nothing ever seems to work...... please excuse my rude tone in this post but I'm horribly frustrated.

Ok... I understand your frustration... please try to keep yourself calm. what you are doing right now is putting in some time to finger out how this #&$@*&^#$ program works... lol. Don't worry... the time you are spending right now is well spent. It DOES work and it does work quite well - not for everything, but for many things.

I can tell you from my personal viewpoint, Battlegrounds running fully botted (Bb Bot or PvP bot) - again, IN MY OPINION, look far too bottish and aren't worth doing. I DO run them though, but with LazyRaider or Combat Bot. (w LazyRaider you do all movement and targeting with your toon, while the bot provides the combat or healing actions - with Combat bot you provide the movement until the Combat Class (CC) detects a target and then pursues it).

When I started with the bot (as you can see from my info on the sidebar <====, just a few months ago) I read alot here and then I started with something braindead simple - Archeology bot. Then day by day I tried things a little more complicated... a gathering profile, a grinding profile, a leveling profile...

BTW - if you haven't read this thread yet, you should. It gives you some info on basic setup and what CCs, profiles and plugins are.
      http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...5-quick-hb-guide-presentation-fast-setup.html

But please try to stay calm. I know it can be frustrating, especially at first when everything is about as clear as mud... but give it (and yourself) some time... and before you know it, you'll be helping others with the same problems.

Oh... and Welcome to the HB Forums! ;)

Ok, let me try to set this step by step for you.

      1) Download World of Warcraft :D
      2) Download Honorbuddy and put the contents in a map called Honorbuddy (for ease of use).
      3) Download FPSWare Priest from here : http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/classes/priest/25109-fpsware-priest.html
      4) Create a folder inside the previously discussed CustomClasses folder which is called Fpsware Priest (and exactly this name Fpsware Priest)
      5) Take the contents from your download and put then into this folder you just created.
      6) Start WoW and login to the character you want to bot (up to the screen you actually can play it). Best if you start WoW in Admin mode (right click wow.exe and select 'Run as Administrator' or whatever it says).
      7) Start Honorbuddy.exe the same way (Administrator Mode).
      8) The honorbuddy login screen comes up, fill out your Username and Password.
      9) Honorbuddy will now attach to WoW with id blablabla.
      10) Select in the topright dropdown what you want to do (e.g. Archaeology, Questing, Grinding, GatherBuddy2, BGBot etc).
      11) For the sake of ease to get it running select ArchaeologyBuddy.
      12) Press the button 'Settings & Tools'
      13) At this point there's a popup that will ask you what Combat Class you want to select. Select here Fpsware Priest and press ok or continue (not sure what pops up here).
      14) Configure your settings there like mounts, food and drink, mail receiving toon, what you want to gather etc. Save and Close when done (bottom right).
      15) Press Start at the bottom of the mainscreen and see what it does (it should start downloading meshes, calculate a route etc. This will take some time when it's a first start).
      16) Let it go and see if everything goes allright.

I will write in a sec more and save in between to complete the steps myself here so I can look if I'm writing it correctly to you.

      17) Now over to the grindmode where you have issues.
      18) You say you are running a 80+ profile so I will take one as example here that I will link to you.
      19) Press Stop at the bottom right (since the bot is still running in Archaeology Mode) and select Grind Bot from the dropdown.
      20) Download the profile I attached at the bottom of this post and store it somewhere on your PC, where you can find it back in a moment.
      21) Press 'Load Profile' and select the profile I attached below (I tested it myself and know this works at least for me. This is a skinning profile btw).
      22) Set your character down at the Sanctuary of Malorne in Mount Hyjal and press start (check to make sure it's running Grind Bot, sometimes it jumps back to the former bot).
      23) It should now start killing the Charbringers there (and skin them if you are a skinner and have this enabled).
      24) Profit?

Hope this is enough detail for you to get it running.

Hey man thanks alot for taking the time to dumb this down for me. While I understood how to download and use profiles, for some reason they would just stand there and not fight the mobs.

The part that fixed this for me was the Fpsware Priest I'm assuming. Now the bot actually kills the mobs with a solid rotation that actually looks like a real player.

      Thanks everyone for your patience...

Missing a small step can have big consequences.
That's why I decided to really write it step by step to make sure nothing is missed (naming folders, where they should go etc).
It's annoying when you can't get it to work, and half the people here assume you know what you are doing (including me sometimes) and throw vague comments about something you might never heared of.

Either way I'm happy you got it running. Should be easier to get the rest going, just step by step.

      Thanks for the rep MD.
