Blizzard makes over 100 million dollars PER MONTH JUST from subscriptions.........you don't think they would spend $30 to buy honorbuddy to get access to these forums????? LOL

Hi everyone ... just thought I write here to thank the Devs yet again for this awesome program. Please understand that no everyone on this forum bitches about the problems that HB might have. I have been botting for a year now and so far I made nearly 2 mill gold which have helped me geared my toons (only reason I bot) all of them (total of 22, 9 hand played rest HB)have all the mounts and profesions and I wouldn't have been able to do this without HB, it still amazes me how a robot is able to do all the things that it does. New patch or fix will always cause havoc to the devs and I am glad they always take the time to make the right fixes, not all of it is perfect but what is in this life? .. As far as I am concerned for the money I paid I have had more than my money's worth ...

What is fun about a program playing for you? Please tell me you don't get a feeling of pride from topping the meters with a bot and CC you didn't even wright.

 

its a ton of fun actually and yes there is a sense of pride when I can tank normal 8/8 dragon soul with my bot and laugh about it to the other officers that know I bot, everyone pays their own 15 and paid for this bot, enjoyment is in the eye of the beholder, dont forget that

I can top meters without a bot (I've been playing since BC), but having a full-time job that takes up most of my brainpower I found that my raid awareness was slipping. I stopped playing for a while, found HB, contributed to CC writing - enabling me to concentrate only on raid awareness - so that I could continue to raid and maintain the social side of raiding with my friends. Its not all about topping meters.

Since I'm bored, and waiting for the newest build of HB to be released, I decided to read this thread fully.

I will not speak for anyone else other than myself when I say I let HB play my toons for me. I use LazyRaider to run Heroics, Regulars, and even Raids. I don't remember the last time I actually manually played a toon after discovering HB. I believe it was pre-WotLK. I like moving around, but given that I have bad eyesight I tend to miss procs and visual cues to push a button, so I let HB handle everything except movement for me. Call me lazy or unworthy of a spot on a raid, run, or whatever because it really doesn't bother me. I give my $15 a month to Blizzard to play my own game. If I can find ways to make my gaming experience easier for me to enjoy, then I'll use them.

Some may call it cheating, and I agree. It is, but I don't care. It lets me have more fun playing the game the way I want to. I'll always support the use of HB and GB until they're shut down permanently. I'll use them for as long as I can as well. I won't say what server I'm on, if I haven't already, and I also won't give out my toon names. I believe those are rules of the forums anyway, so no one will have to worry about, or everyone will always wonder, if they have me (the perma-botter) in their runs. You may look at that top DPS or top Heals and wonder if that's me. If it is, that's good, if it's not, well that's good too. I'm going to play my game how I feel I should be playing it.

Everyone should play their own game and not feel the urge to tell someone else what's right and wrong about how they play. No one should be calling names, or saying who's worthy of what and who isn't. Chances are if you're posting in these forums you've used HB or GB, so you're basically being hypcritical.

Sorry if I offend anyone or cause someone to get sand in their vag, but I'm just callin' it like I see it. Now, back to cooking and waiting for HB to be released so I can go back to being proud of my top DPS and heals. lol

 

i love topping meters with the bot cos people respect u and see you as an amazing player but u dont actually have to put the time into learning stuff, no one in my guild knows i bot thats why i need it now cos i have to raid soon and they will expect me to be in the top of dps

 

since when do people find repetitive stuff (WoW) fun? when i started playing WOW, i found it fun but after a week or so, it's became dull and time wasting. you basically do the same thing all over and over until a new patch or whatever comes out. honestly, it's not "fun". it's called addiction. which is why HB can make your life better... it basically convinces you to do better things while botting at the same time.

but there are two things I like about HB playing my char in dungeons / raids:
1) easier to position yourself, easier to talk to friends, less stressful, less prone to "mistakes", and still dish out good dps / heals.
2) i now pay more attention to the WoW dialogues (the NPC dialogues that pop up in the background while in dungeons / raids... makes things a bit more interesting)

 

It took a lot less time tuesday to come up with the new version of HB and the patch was way bigger. Is something wrong? Do we have an ETA ? I know you must be pissed, and you're already doing your thing for it to work, it's just that it's always good to know what's going on.

I was using the bot perfectly fine yesterday, all day today I have been getting this error. I completely reinstalled HB and it still does not work. At first I believed the issue was because I had two WoW windows open and it wasn't giving me the option to choose but even with only one window open I get this error.

 

You will have to for update 5460 due to the patches that have been released this morning. Have patience young padawan.

 

New patch came out. Bot stop working. Wait for fix.

 

Blizzard put out another small patch, roughly 30 mb in size, and it caused the newest version to break. The dev team is updating it once again to work with the "newest" patch of WoW. We're all waiting for it to be released.

 

Ah ok saw the bot was updated this morning and figured that was for this patch, thanks.
