Don't beleave everything you read... What would sound worse? Him saying "he hacked it" or saying "he gave it to Blizzard"
How are you ment to give login details to Blizzard? Come on.

He would log in, cause some damage and get reported by other people. He can't send login details to Blizzard... They would pay no attention and the person who sent the login would be called a hacker by them.

 

Bossland, I asked them this very question. I also asked if we should be concernd about Blizzard being in Germany. BotOp told me all the rumors where lies, he of course was full of shit and lied to the entire community. Of course they visited him. He is shutting down because he loves the cash to much to spend it on lawyers. Hes taking what he made and running.

 

Pirox said he had a script in the bot, that if you where using a hacked version or hacked the bot itself and used it and you used the relog feature. It would send your info to Pirox and Pirox would then forward the info to Blizzard.

If you cra cked the bot, the login information from the relog would be sent to a PHP page where pirox could login to the PHP page and look at the login details. He would then hack it to cause some damage to that account.

Although, I think no one got hacked. Someone spotted the code just 1-3 days after the release of it

 

Ok then thanks for clearing that up. He played it off as if he was reporting them. He never said he was actually hacking them. So i assume he was hacking his members aswell then? Alot of players got hacked using relog. You dont hear about that stuff here.

So many things that happened with that bot did not make sense. Finally i just had enough of 1 +1 = 347 there that i abandoned ship and came here. I like it better here anyways,

pirox completely changing the business model smelled of something... i never renewed to the "new" price model. as someone said earlier in the thread, he knew what was coming and was trying to get all he could before he ran. with the abrupt way pirox is shutting down, it's understandable many feel abandoned and taken advantage of...

 

Another Pirox user. Definately sad to see Pirox go, I had spent a lot of time making my own custom profiles and had everything running perfectly for over a year. Within the next few days I will likely be taking a look at HB, and if I can sort out how to make my own custom profiles and they work the way I want then I will be coming over.

PS: Lifetime Standard/Elite users could still purchase 30 day Premium access for the original price (I started with Pirox about a year ago) until the very end. I don't understand why people are saying he started charging more for this service at the end. I did however wonder why he changed his pricing model a few months ago, but because it did not affect me I didn't give it much thought.

edit: in hind sight it actually looks like a nice way to not allow folks to invest in a lifetime sub that he knew was not going to be lifetime anymore. My .02$

 

Yet another pirox user here, while i wasn't active in the public pirox forum i was with a group of mates making class setups and profiles, i then desided to stop botting a few month ago, just to start 2 weeks ago.
I log onto pirox today and see this and thinks, hmm... Challenge Accepted.

HB is gonna be a great hobby to start.
I have been wondering about 1 thing, is the CC setup in AutoIt language or C#?
i will be able to do soo much more with C# <3 please say its C#!

 

Without custom *.dll support (like SharpSvn or w/e), but it is C#

There's only PvP-profiles in the "Default Profiles" folder? Which profiles do you mean?

I tried to start GatherBuddy2 in Honorbuddy but all I get is "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

 

I never liked the way they dealt with scams, they didn't care about nobody, anyway, the bot was good and I got a whole free year because I was a level2 there.
But since they are down, I have to change bot now.
Can someone tell me pros and cons of GB?

Another pirox user, sad to say i will miss it tbh. the gathering profiles were great n im hoping gb profiles will be just as good. New to hb and gb im looking forward to checking out the possibilities. I have to say the combat engine of hb is incredible in compared to pirox. although i hope hb bring out an arena bot like ARQ.. Sadly the creator has stopped this bot.. Hve ove 30 chars with glad titles and elite pvp gear..
