Ya more ram (its so cheap now-well compared to what it used to be). Also are you using a ssd drive, they work miracles.
The AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz is a beast (damn this thing is 200 bucks now on Newegg wtf).
I cant print money either tho so i know ;)

i7 LGA1366 or i7-2600K is much better than Phenom X6.
but the best way is i7-980.

My laptop has a Core i7, 12 gigs of ram, 7200 rpm drive, 2 gig ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650. It's an Acer, and it's such a POS that if I'm running just 2 bots sometimes, it just randomly restarts. I have had it for less than a year and the hard drive, the blu-ray/DVD-Burner, the USB ports except for one are all fried. It is just a huge POS. I have contacted acer and they are just going to refurb it or send me a refurbed one and I am not doing that, however, newegg.com not unlike walmart offer a 3 year extended warranty, but they get you because the first year you have to return to Manufacturer. It is coming up on the time more and more each day that I get to send it back to newegg. Fuckers wouldn't take it back or exchange it in any way until that one year mark is up of the manufacturer and they say they will probably replace it if they can't repair it. (fingers crossed).

And they, too, will replace it with a refurb. Or did you really think they were gonna give you a brand new one?

First to tell, I am new to Honorbuddy. My last Bot was Pirox, everyone knows it was closed. Second, sorry for bad english.

On my PC i was running about 9-10 Bots - i think more were possible. The fact that Pirox was scripted with shitty Auto-It - i think 12+ with HB/GB are possible on my system, too.
There are many points, that can increase the bot amount.
I think everyone knows some of them, like limiting the fps or install graphic card tools (like rivatuner) and lower the graphic details to minimum and so on.. I have read some nice tutorials about it.
The graphic card is not so important that you might think, it's just needed for supporting the CPU and you need one, even when its one without extra power port. (onchip/onbard graphics i would not recommend)

My system costed about 400€ and is running since 9 months (24/7) and has a very low power consumption:
      i3 2100t
      h61 board
      100gb ssd (kingston)
      radeon 5650
      8gb no name RAM
      200W 80+ NT
      no name Case

Actually hb consumes more than pirox, ALOT more in citys.
While pirox used about 0-3%(farming) 3-6%(City Ah) of my cpu each session (phenom x4 945) HB uses about 5-8%(farming) and 8-13%(City Ah). So buckle up and buy more pcs. Ram usage remained the same.

edit: Is it possible to disable hbs search for gameobjects and human players and only check for npcs? i feel that having about 1k objects and humans in sw to which hb has to measure distance etc at all times seems to be the source of the heavy usage of cpu performance.

Gamebooster is crap. It really doesn't do anything but free virtual memory... big deal if you got physical ram to cover your game and bots...
