[Plugin] Mr.HonorCap - A Plugin that Buys HonorGear for You.

Attached are my configs for Ret Paladin's @ level 80. Using Org vendors. Mostly I've put them here for safe keeping as I'm leveling a few paladins.

CodenameG, is it possible to get you to add multi-toon support, a drop down box, or something similar to this plugin to allow us to select configs. I do most of my botting remotely, and it's painstaking to setup this plugin in separate HB installs for each toon I run. I realise you only intended for us to use this on one toon at max level, but it's a darn useful tool while BG levelling on BG weekends.

Would it be possible for this plugin to change the honour points into Justice Points, then buy the Justice gear?

this plugin was working fine for me till last night already geared up 2 charas fully now it wont buy anything when i have the honor. no idea why it just stopped working here is the log.

 

jw how will the plugin tell the diffidence between season 10 and 11 gear?

As far as I can tell, at least for mages. The name, vendor and price are the same for s10 and 11. I am not at the vendor anymore so I cant double check lol I just hope I am wrong

What order does it buy the items in? Is it cheapest or in order? Also will I have problems if I have a none between items?

 

I believe it's the cheapest to the most expensive. And no you won't

 

Is there anyway you can make it so that it will buy the item in the first slot (top --> Bottom). Currently it buys whatever it has points for. Like i have a 2200 piece in the first slot, hoping it would buy the 2200 before the 1650 pieces but it bought the 1650 piece.

 

try turning off "Buy JP" and see if that works.

 

Can you please make it so it buys gear in the order you place it in the boxes (Top to bottom). It would be much more convenient that way we can specify which items to buy first.

Can i ask why? It's way more practical to be able to control which pieces of gear it buys first.

If not the above, can you make it so that it saves the settings by character. For example, right now i'm pvp botting a mage/rogue and trying to get full ruthless gear. Right now, if i setup both bots/plugins for each character it works fine until i close and restart HB. Then the plugin has the setting from lets say the mage, now i have to go to my rogue's HB and change the gear from the mage gear back to the rogue gear etc.

It would be really nice if it could save settings based on the character, that way i don't need to change all the boxes each time i switch characters. I hope that makes sense.

BTW I LOVE THIS PLUGIN = )

 

the way its coded its not possible to have it pick and choose what gear to buy first, i would need to recode the entire thing and at this point is not feasible and really people should be happy i even update it at all, let alone try and support it.

secondly the reason why i had it save settings the way it does is so people could share the config's easily without editing the name and having identifying character information, its meant to allow people to share their configs, not the way CC settings are setup where they are personal to the Character logged into wow.

heres basicly the logic

1.do i have enough honor to buy anything on the list.
if i do, do i have the gear already in the list
if i dont lets go to the vender and look for item names that match the thing on the list.
if i have enough honor for an item and the item name matches the one thats on the list,
buy the item.

doing so breaks the first if, and there it is. there's no other way, i could think of in order to get it to work AT ALL. like i said it would require a huge re-write.

 

Is it possible to have more slots to buy more gear?

 

I dont know if im dumb and missing smth in the "How Do I Use This" but when i go to Honorbuddy/Plugins/Mrhonorcap//Honorcap. That Honorcap file only starts HB2 when i click it and i search like a moron and still cant find that shit to enable man, where do i find this, or where did i go wrong? Cuz i cant find anything, all i have is the Mrhonorcap folder in the plugins and in that folder there is alot of Mrhonorcap files, but nothing that can be opened exept of the .config that open HB2 itself :s
