I've been a faithfull honorbuddy customer for 1 year , took 8 months break and came back now.

I've spent about 3 weeks trying to set up Honorbuddy to work flawlessly (not minor flaws, that can always be expected, but Im talking about the major flaws that ruin the grind all together) with the profiles this forum supplies. (even though 90% of all profiles I recall 8 months ago are completely gone, or they are there, but you cant download them, because of "you dont have permission"-error).

These are the major flaws/errors I meet everytime I try to run my bot:

(Tested with Worgen Druid from 1 to 63 - latest HB and Wow 4.3)

      1) In Grind mode with herb/skinning profile:

Every time it gets aggro on mount, it turns around 180 degrees and runs away , away from skinning, away from herbing, away from mob, and pulls 6-8 new mobs aggro without intention. And first if it gets hit enough times in the back (by 40 mobs i.e.) and gets disorianted, first THEN it stops, and attacks, and dies because there are too many mobs. then after, what does it do? Does it run back to loot/skin/herb? No. It continues on the cycle after the major intense annoying bug happens. Effectively ruining the grinding all to gether. This happens so often that I bet I lose atleast 50% of the loot and xp I would normally have gotten. It's like there's 2 routines conflicting here. One saying that if you get aggro it should run away, another one saying if it gets aggro it should attack. These two seem to conflict, and most of the times the first one overrules the other one. It runs away, instead of attacking. Even though its just 1 mob. So, there you have it, my bot makes my char run through mobs, aggro them, and keep running until it gets killed from too many mobs. GREAT STUFF! (sorry, this annoys the living shit out of me)

      2) In Grind mode with faction-id-profile:

It attacks the given mobs in the profile, but when it changes zone, or theres a mob closeby thats NOT included in the profile, it ignores it, and runs through it aggroing it. This happens ALL the time. I've leveled this guy from 1 to 63, over 2 weeks. And Ive observed alot, it does it always. Ive tried 15 different profiles, same issue, tried changing settings, but without any luck. I got "attack mobs in between hot spots" ticked on, but it NEVER does it. And I mean NEVER!

      3) In Grind mode with either faction-id-profile or herb/skinning profile:

      a) at any time during combat, it suddenly stops attacking. Just stands still. This happens about 60% of the time. And as you can understand, results in it dying. I can recall this error when Honorbuddy was abit new, but that had to do with CC problem. I understood CC's are integrated with HB nowadays? So no need to replace the CC right?

      b) It doesn't attack mobs, it acts like theres no mobs, and goes for the herb like there's no tomorrow. Why doesnt it first analyze the area, attack the closest mob inbetween the herb and me, THEN loots the herb? Why? It has always been like this, why change it?

To me it seems like Honorbuddy has sunk in effectivity by very much over the last year. Is this because of Blizzard fighting HB compatibility? Or what?

Why can't the char just attack any mobs closeby? Why must it either attack faction-given id mobs, or no mobs and get killed either way? None of the grind profiles Ive tried work properly. None!

Please help me out here, I think a couple of things may be error on my end, but I'm not sure, tried most things without any luck.

Have you turned off the new Wow feature 'Left click to interact'? I've seen that seriously f'up my toons until I turned that off... it's in the interface menu... I think in the general section. (I'm at work, if I've got the wrong location, can someone give the correct location)?

*Edit* As far as the other problems during combat - stops fighting etc... try a different CC. If it continues, post a log so that it can be looked at.

yea... that messed up alot of us... and the strange thing is that I'll be playing a toon I've played a bunch since 4.3 and suddenly this session he starts freaking out, so I check the setting... and it's checked.

Omg Altoids. I couldn't figure out what was going on with my questing after the patch. Works so much better now.

I gotta get back to being more active. I lost all my accounts due to bans and friends taking them back after getting banned. So now I got two more accounts and working on it.

Hmm, after I disabled the left click-option it now runs back to the mobs it gets aggro from.

But the no-combat/no-ability-error during combat still persists.

My char stands still being pounded on at random combat with random mobs. Just suddenly happens. where he doesnt use any abilities or anything, just autoattacks.

Update: No, I was wrong, it still runs away from mobs and stops attacking at random points. Just now ran with aggro from 25 mobs in Terrokar Forest, and kept running for 30 seconds (Running Wild). Then after all the aggro had vanished it tries to go back to the first mob that aggroed, we're talking 30 seconds of more running back to the original spot. And first THEN he attacks.

We're talking 6times as much time to kill 1 mob. My grinding effectivity is 1/6 of what it can be due to these horribly annoying bugs. Why arent there any thread in the forum about this? "HB settings for 4.3 wow" i.e. that talks about what you need to change to make the bot work. I've searched through the forums for hours, and nothing about this.

      Please help!

For that you'll need to post a log...

Just in case you forget how to post one ... you have been gone awhile... ;)
      http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/guides/9859-how-attach-your-hb-log-file-pictures.html

But it sounds like a CC problem... have you tried using a different CC?

I was an average "expert" on HB 1 year ago, made my own profiles and even started on some CC writing. But after what I've understood the new kind of HB doesnt require CC, and that its all integrated. Is it even possible to try with a different CC like back 1 year ago? If so, how? Im at a complete loss here.

Watching ur char gather up aggro from so many mobs, only to keep running away, is the most annoying thing ever. I just have to walk away from my computer and let it bug as much as it want, Im becoming mad with rage over these bugs. Especially watching HB get better and better 1 year ago, only to come back and see this. SIgh. Im so upset :mad::mad:

Update: Btw, Ive noticed something odd, during my entire grind from 1 to 63 Ive had "Ground mount farming mode" ticked on under Bot Settings. But if I now tick it off, and have "left click" option off inside wow game, it seems to fix the problem with aggroing and not attacking mobs. I guess I must have misunderstood Ground Mount Farming Mode. I thought you had to tick that on to tell the bot ur not flying. Any input on this?

These are just 2-4 hour sessions. I dont know too much about this coding to know exactley where the bugs might be. The latest log is also included in the post, incase you missed it:

      View attachment 15.12.2011_20_46 3576 Log.txt

Its from the longest session. And if anyone needs to see the earlier logs Ive included them above.

This is my point, hence why I linked all my logs. I'm not educated in this. Please click the one I linked earlier, I dont know how to find it again.

Its the link where I say:
      "Latest HB log:
      Attachment 30881"

All my logs are there. Can you help me?

I've seen this behavior with Singular on a druid as well. It appears to randomly forget the combat routine and just go auto attacking. Then, the next mob around it will work fine. I didn't save any logs cause I just said meh and changed over to FPSWare druid. Now, if someone would fix the druid cc's so they don't keep swapping back and forth between seal form and cat form when they are fighting in the water, I'd be happy (Both Singular and FPS do this).

On another note, as a long time user of HB, questing on both horde and ally using Kicks profiles seems to be more afkable than ever before. I've taken a lock to 50, a druid to 30, and working on a dk as well and have had to interact very, very little.
