      Is there any way to make it use less cpu?

      are you on the latest Hb version? (5494)

      cpu issues are fixed on latest release

      Yes, on the latest. But it still consumes much of cpu. Maybe there is anything that can make it use less cpu?

      Disable all addons and set the graphics to the lowest.
      Make sure there are no programms running in the background (startup with windows).

      Use less/no plugins.
      Use Singular as your CC.

      Final option of using Gatherbuddy1 (The standalone, Macro mashing Pre-Honorbuddy)
      It uses barely a fraction of what Honorbuddy does.
