I just bought the trial of this product, there are no guides or tutorials on how to even start the bot. there is just a tutorial on the installation but thats it.
How do I start it? I open honorbuddy up and it says i have wow build #0 and it only supports build #15050
Well, I read the forum for a couple of weeks before I even bought... and then I started with something simple. I would recommend at least the second part. Start with something simple. Start in your home city and start with Archeology buddy on a higher level toon. Make sure it works as it should... but make sure you have a Custom Class installed for your class. After that, maybe try gathering or grinding for awhile. Note: I am not talking about set them and walk away... for now, you have to learn what is safe and what isn't. Until you do, assume NOTHING is safe to walk away from. Welcome to HB and good luck!
ok... first of all... you have to have Wow started and have a toon loaded up... or you will get that error.
Honorbuddy does not support the currently active 'gxAPI' please change it to 'D3D9' so what happened did i do something wrong
Tony, reading his first post, I believe he's read that... or at least seen it cause he made reference to an install guide... he just didn't know what to do after he set it up...
Wilbo: Open up the game Options -> Advanced -> Graphics API change to DirectX 9 Options -> Graphics -> Display Mode: Change to Windowed
go in your wow settings and change the graphics api to dx9 if you already read my guide its noted there
I have to select a profile, i am a human level 1 mage in northshire valley, do i have to download a profile?
ok this is stupid really, there should be already level 1-60 profiles in the default now I have to download some stupid turtle thing and go through a complicated process
Wilbo, Relax... take a few deep breaths. This isn't paint by numbers - it does require a little time and effort invested by you, but in the end, it is very much worth it. The bot works very well, but you have to spend a little time getting used to it and figuring out how to make it do it's magic... BTW - personally, starting with a questing profile might be a little advanced if you have literally done nothing else with the bot... as I said in a previous post, start with something simple first and then once you get the hang of that, try something a bit more difficult. Some questing profiles are very good, but some take a bit more hands on and sometimes have to be stopped for you to do something.
ok im sorry i'm just really tired it's 3 AM almos and I have just lost my patience for today, I did the SVN thing and everything is now working fine I set it up to quest 1-5 northshire valley but is there any way I can set it so that after it has done 1-5 to do 5-12?
If you're using Kick's, as long as their in the same directory, it will follow from one to the next... again... if you're not sure what you're doing and what is safe... do not leave it AFK for a long period of time. There are some profiles that you can do that with and some that you risk getting banned. Unless you have watched it working well with your setup and toon for a good amount of time, then it's very risky to walk away from it. Just don't want to see you get your first ban just hours after joining us, ya know? (I've been doing it for the last several months and so far so good... *knocks on wood*)
great btw read here the instructions http://www.thebuddyforum.com/blogs/kickazz006/554-1-85-kick-cata-dailies.html and make sure that you are using, the provided by Kick, plugins and QuestBehavior(aka "QB") files
