Hi All Never used a bot before and have a few questions and recommendations. 1. Should you use it with your main account or have a seperate account to do so, completely seperate battlenet account? 2. Should I be connecting through a VPN for the seperate battlenet account? What are your thoughts? What are the best ways to do this.... Appreciate your comments. Cheers
You don't have to use it with your main account but it sure is nice to do so. A lot of people don't bother with VPN but it can be an idea if you are going to engage in outright botting behaviour like staying logged in 24/7 and grinding stuff. Really it comes down to are you going to try sell gold with the use of the bot or are you just wanting to power level and be casual. I ask because one account won't make much $$$ unless you are willingly to do a fair bit of work.
Thanks for the info... Was planning on being casual with it.. Only a few hours a day maybe up to 12.. Was mainly going to use it for PVP etc.. dont need it for power levelling.. all my characters are levelled. maybe a bit of gold / ore farming.. etc.. but not longer than 12hrs a day.. Possibly less. What do you mean about the fair bit of work? as in what as an example?
I think he means you'll have to use your professions to make use of raw mats. It would be more profitable, but you have to put in more effort. Some users here have like 20 or even more accounts and can do with just selling raw mats. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
If your botting casual you would not need a VPN. As for botting on your main account, you can but be prepared to lose it. I have been doing it for years with no bans though so if you where to bot on your main, be careful in what settings you use and stuff
Thanks for the info. For what sort of things would you bot on your main account for? Any recommended settings moving forward if I do go down the path of doing it.. I was thinking to use it more for PVP points etc.. and maybe some gold generation.
Typically levelling (I like to have lots of 85's on each account for profs and what not), herb/mine gathering then pvp.
