1-58 HORDE big problem

hello, iam leveling many chars with my 3 section of hb, char about at lvl 75/80 ... char at lvl 65 and other from 1 to 58

i see many bug in the profile 1-58, for example iam trying to lvl up a druid , from 1-23 all ok, from 26/27 to 33 take 3 days...always stop, dont attack mob, dont moove, if 2/3 add, 1 kill and just watch other without do anything.

i think dev of that profiles r good but must fix many things, dont tell me depend on CC, coz i try with 3 char, SP , feral druid, hunter, and got about same problems


so what do u need for fix it ? i want to help dev support in this

suggestion: create a unique pack of plugin needed for lvl up a char " without " problem, and write when any1 buy bot to download it and install all ! so dont need to search along for find 1 x 1 plugins... ty

 

What profile are you refering to? Kicks, the azenius project etc

 

Yep, I can most definitely vouch for his problems.

I am using Kick's profile and it does tend to stop when it's on a mob-killing type quest. There are incidents where it would be in the process on killing a mob -- then stops and let the mob kill my character since it would just stand there and not do anything.

On HB, I checked if it's downloading any mesh, looked at the info, and everything seems working correctly.

There are a couple of bad spots in Kicks horde 1-58 profile. I usually do the bad spots manually or switch to pvp or something to get past that level/spot. I just leveled a druid 1-85 this week and know what your talking about. Its a profile issue.

 

bot is created for dont stay in front of monitor i know cant be all perfect...but 4 lvl in 3 days is not good :\


edit: and the pvp section got many bugs ^^' cant lvl with that

edit2: how can u do 1-85 a druid so fast O_O my bot continue to stop for bugs :S i think iam noob

 

this is CC/HB issues not profile issues, there is some nasty bugs in HB that they have fixed but haven't released yet

 

I Hope they release a new version : ) coz this one got important bugs :\

I recently went 1-60 with a blood elf ret pally under Azenius using Fpsware's paladin CC. I was watching it 90% of the time and had to intervene maybe 10 times tops. Most of them were just plain situational... like the bot fell down off of something and got lost. I did notice that there were times where the bot stopped attacking and died or almost died but generally speaking it was for a reason - like a rock being between the enemy and my character so he couldn't hit it. It would die, return, and continue on its merry way. There were a couple of unexplained ones where the bot would stop doing anything but looking at the logs there was nothing obvious. I do not expect perfection from my bot and am constantly amazed at what it can do on its own. The game is very complicated and you have to expect from time to time your bot will screw up. It's even more impressive when it recovers from its screw-ups in my mind. I often sit and watch it to see what it will do when it does something goofy.

In the description of the Azenius profile it mentions that it doesn't support BoAs. Last time I did it with BoAs, etc and encountered tons of problems but usually it was things like oops killed the creature too quickly and therefore didn't have time to use object X on him, etc. This time I did it without BoAs and it went much much smoother. It took longer of course but it allowed me to get a lot more work done while the bot was running.

So far I've brought 5 toons 1-85 and I've got 2 on their way right now. Recently Kick has updated many of his profiles and it has been amazing. I've been going from 60-70 on one and I've had to intervene twice. Amazing work. The next time I level up a toon I'll try his 1-60 again because I've seen some SVN commits on those too. Make sure you update Kick's profiles often from SVN. As the game changes the profile makers also need to make changes. The Azenius profile maker I think is a little worn out because I haven't seen any major changes recently but it took an unimaginable amount of work to get it to where it is today. There is no way some magical addon will fix all of your problems and even if it did it would take tons of work with every patch to keep it up to date. The bigger the project the more work it takes to keep it up to date and working as intended for everyone.

My current path to 85:
1. Make sure everything is up to date. (Honorbuddy and profiles) Use SVN for the profiles whenever possible. Read the profile descriptions completely and make sure you take into consideration what they say.
2. Start off using singular but if you notice either low dps or mental retardation then grab another CC. Note that many CCs are for 85 lazy raider and not for starting characters. I generally try Fpsware's CCs although some of them are starting to get a little dated.
3. Use Azenius 1-60. I've found that some races have more issues than others at lower levels. Blood elf starting area is the best so far. Tauren have issues with bumping into everything due to their size. Goblin starting area was just plain broken last time I tried.
4. Use Kick's profiles from 60-85 (he even fixed up an old horde twilight highlands although I haven't tried it yet)


Last thing I have to say is POST LOGS. Nobody will have any idea of what's going on if you don't.

the whole program has big problems lol questing doesnt work. start it up go afk 3 hours come back and its gauranteed logged off :\

unfortionatly there is lot of bot errors :\ they add new stuff without fixxing stuff first.... but still over all great bot

they have been like this for the longest time unfortionatly :\ they didnt even perfect honorbuddy 1 before they came out with 2. every new thing brings new problems ontop of old problems......but they will get it eventually towards the end of honorbuddy 1 it was nearly flawless. and when i stopped botting 6-7 months ago when they came out with questing originally it was nearly impossible to use even attended. But now it is working much better but still cant afk with it :\

 

But this is still the best bot out there Coding wise....only if bugs would be fixxed at a faster speed it would be even more of a amazing bot that it already is
