I've noticed that when using BGBot I get disconnected every 10 to 15 minutes while in BGs. I'm using EzFrost for my CC and BGBot as my base. I'm doing random BGs. And, I can almost set my clock by it, but when I start a BG I'll get anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes (at most, but sometimes it's just a minute or two over 5 minutes into a BG) that I get disconnected from the server. It's getting a bit annoying because it only happens when I go into BGs. I can use any other bot (with the exclusion of BGBot, and I haven't tried PVPBot) and I can play for hours without being disconnected. Any Ideas?
Tried Pvp Bot and got the same results. I can't stay in a BG for more than 10 minutes before I get DC'd. I can quest, farm, run instances, run raids, and do everything that IS NOT pvp and the bot runs without a problem and I get no DC's, but as soon as I switch to a Pvp project I only get 10 minutes. It's frustrating as all hell because I've already lost out on over 1000 honor because I get DC'd towards the very end and can't log in fast enough to get my rewards. Someone, please, tell me WTH is going on?
I did. I also used Singular and was still being DC'd during BG's. I know it's not my internet because I can run the bot for hours if I'm in PvE mode, but as soon as I switch to PvP mode things start getting weird.
Do a fresh download and try that version, I use EzFrost all the time...probably the plugins or something doing it.
I'm wondering if it's because I'm interacting with the bot, because since the last DC over an hour ago I've logged back in and started the bot and just left it alone completely. Before I was interacting with the bot with movement and throwing random skills or changing targets. I'm going to see how it acts with me just letting it run all on its own. If it's still happening, then I'll do another fresh install.
make a new Hb installation from scratch,keep all the plugins disabled and use fpsware's CC post back your results
I'll give that a shot, but I'm kind of apprehensive of using Fpsware's CC for PvP. Isn't it meant for PvE only> I noticed that if I left everything alone it ran for a longer amount of time, but that was early in the morning, at around 8 am EST, but now even when I leave it alone it still DC's halfway through a BG. At around 8 this morning I could get in multiple BGs without it DC'ing at all. I'll do a clean install when I get home from errands and such today. It'll be a few hours before I post back.
Go into a BG using LazyRaider or Combat Bot and see if the problem continues as well... and as was already said, try fresh installs and a different CC.
Yeah, I've tried all the suggestions given now except for using the new BGBot, and that's because it's not out yet, and the issue still arises. I always get DC'd in BGs when I use the bot, but never when I play by hand, which i suck at doing. LazyRaider and CombatBot also cause me to DC. It's almost as if the bot is flooding me with commands while in a BG, while any of the PvE bots don't spam commands as much, or something like that. I don't really know since I'm not a coder or anything. As for ARelog, I'm not familiar with it since I've never used it before. Will it close and restart HB with the CC I was using, the bot I was using, etc? It looks like it will from what I was reading, but I'm not too sure about putting my user name and password into an .exe file. I'm just paranoid about losing my account, since I've been hacked twice before BEFORE I sttarted using HB. It's trustworthy I'm sure, since it's in these forums as a product to use, but as I said, I'm paranoid of being hacked again so I use an authenticator. Does it work with those?
That is not an HB issue. It is with Blizzard's goofy servers. It all started back on patch day for 4.3. Check out the Blizz Tech Forums. There are a lot of posts on this. Happens to me daily.
Ah, I see. It's highly frustrating to say the least. I've lost out on several thousand honor because of the DCs. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but I assure it's not. I always seem to get DC'd right at the end of the bg when they give the bonus for winning the BG. Glad to know it's Blizz and not HB. I still want to see the new BG bot though. What I'd really love to get is a good CC for a Blood DK for PvP. I've tried everything on the forums that I could find and the one that works the best is Clu's Blood.cs rewrite for PvP, but even then it's not the best. I'm waiting on the release of Mastahg's EzBlood, but it seems that might be a while off.
...how is this a blizzard issue? he said he doesn't dc at all when playing manually. To the OP, best bet is to hang on for BGBuddy. Due out soon.
Well, it seems that's really my only option now, since I can't figure out how to set up and use ARelog. I still get DC'd in BGs, but I play them anyway and just deal with the loss and frustration. I'm still waiting on BGBuddy though Oh well, c'est la vie.

I did too, and I couldn't get it to work. I followed it word for word, but still it kept bugging out and not logging anything, or opening anything. All it gave me was a window that said something like "Format is as follows: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6" and it gave me an "Ok" button. I click that, and nothing happens. I just gave up on it. I have enough to give me headaches as it is, so I really don't need software to add to it. I'm sure the "How To" is written well enough for those that know what they're doing, but for me it needs to be more in-depth and more informative. I know how to change profiles, install CCs and profiles, install plugins, change options in a GUI, and those simple things like that, but when it comes to using something I've never used before I just can't do it without a really informative set of instructions. I mean no offense to the author of the plugin, and I'm sure the plugin works really well once it's set up properly, but for a novice like me, I just can't figure it out with the directions given.
