[Idea] Gold Selling Coalition

Its not illegal to sell gold so they cant lock down your account.

 

This has already been accomplished, I have received a LARGE number of the "Contact Cards" that is described in the first post. I have been cataloging all of these and have created a Backend system for use with a website / plugin. Once distributed a database will be populated with complete stock information.

I haven't asked anyone to trust me with anything, firstly. Secondly, my ability to spell has no correlation to my trust, nor does it effect my ability to organize and operate a successful business. While on that note, I spell quite well actually. I simply do not find a need to keep perfect prose when openly discussing an idea on a public internet forum. Your opinion has been heard, please continue on your way now.

I dont think that this is a big deal, they anyways dont know what people are selling and the only way they could find out, is if someone complains and describes what happened, then paypal would just lose all its wow selling accounts and people would use something else like moneybookers.
Its not like that there are no alternatives, and its not like Paypal is the cheapest, I payed over 100 ? of fees for Paypal in the middle of december, for providing a service which is no diffrent from online banking, considering that Paypal scams always were possible when selling gold, not a big loss if you ask me.
Additionally selling gold is not illegal, even if Blizzard and PP would like to have it that way, holding back money for trades of virtuals goods would result in a lawsuit ...

 

i totally support this idea however I think this just might be one of those things that's awesome on paper. I'm not doubting you, i'm just sayin...

Hope you can deal with critics, but it looks rather cheap as layout.
If it where up to me I'd never enter a page like that to sell gold on or buy from, it has to be somewhat professional and clean.

The full header part is unused space, you didn't go for a whitespace so why fill it up with just a unusable image that has been used on a lot of websites already.

As for the font you used a correction on it didn't you? it's too big!:O

(sorry for this critics but this is how I see it as an web designer.)

 

I refrained from commenting before, but you definitely hit the larger points on it.

No reason to waste space, as it can be very valuable to you, and also has to potential to waste your customers screen and time.

 

Well just trying to be honest and give critis as a designer instead of saying bleh or yay.

Hope he can improve of what I tell is wrong, if you or someone else thinks now elaborate on it why

Meh, I spent 30 minutes on that as a rough draft as this idea is not fully established. If we were actually to organize it I would spend hell of a lot more time utilizing space and making it all clean.

 

Don't take it as we are throwing it back in your face.

As a pointer I'd like Smarter to never use any WoW Screenshot / Lore related pictures on the site.
It's very distracting.

@smarter this idea is great to say the least. However there is alot of issues that need to be worked out amd if the comunity gets behind it great. I have a decent monopoly on my US servers and have been stocking up since i read ur post. Keep us updated ive cut off all selling on my servers(lucky i have a job to survive on) already and im started to get bugged more often by my buyers for stock managed to get a chiniese to bump the price up to 90c per 1k and still turned him down. If everyone started starving the market this idea will unfold but im sure there will be those who are in it for themselves and who dont understand how to control a market who will keep selling at 20c per 1k if need be. all in all great idea, im in it with ya and starving the market for a few months will be better for everyone

 

Sorry I do not believe for 1 second that any chinese buyers are offering you 90 cents per k.

Secondly the few people wanting to do this in no way effect the market or ability to starve it.

Directed at all virtual currencies not just WoW would be ideal. Also, not using copyrighted images are also always a better idea.
