I keep getting this problem when LazyRaider decides to target for me and automatically move towards it, where as i would prefer it if i was the one who does the targeting and the movement. It also tends to target team players and tries to attack them?
@ArmyDr: LazyRaider allows you to control the movement and targeting, while your CustomClass controls all other aspects of combat, healing, etc. It requires a CC that is compatible with it (LazyRaider disables non-combat movement, while your CC is responsible for disabling movement while in combat.) This creates a bot assisted style of play that allows you to do Heroics, Raids, Arena, and Rated BGs that you cannot easily do with other bots due to the need to coordinate on strategy for movement, targeting, etc. @grandxwc: LazyRaider actually works as you described and does not target mobs. If you are automatically targeting a mob it is due to one of the following: - The Combat Class you are using is targeting mobs - A Plug-In like Combat Helper is installed and targeting mobs - You are being attacked and the WoW Client automatically targets the mob Closes HonorBuddy, then run HonorBuddy, and disable ALL plug-ins before pressing the Start button (very important since some plug-ins are written in a way that they continue to run if they are ever enabled in the current session.) That way you will know whether its the CC or your WoW Client. Good luck to both of you! Bobby53
Thank you very much. I have been using lazyraider on my healing Shaman with your CC and its fantastic. Pretty sure no human could do better While I have no problems with it, I have a question. When the shaman heals, it don't target other players (it targets the mob and heals all of the party while still showing the target of the mob) Its hard to explain but I'm sure to anyone who used this before would know. Now, I have no issues with this but I am wondering if Blizzard could easily detect this. Or am I being paranoid? Sorry for being rather... retarded I guess but I am just wondering I am so pleased though with how it all works... I'm seen as a god like healer in my guild now. Little do they know who is really healing them Thanks for lazyraider & your shamwow!
Smoogel, You are very welcome! Thanks for sharing your LazyRaider and ShamWOW success! +rep Most end game Shaman don't set a friendly as their target. Raid frames (regardless of which you use) provide all the friendly info they need so Current Target and Focus are used for enemy mobs of interest. So the current behavior actually models best practice. Good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53
Lazyraider will bug out sometimes and not be able to set tank properly. I'm using TCresto druid CC. When I open the bot config the tank's name is not there but his HP and class show up, I select that person and try to set as tank but it does not apply. Clicking refresh does nothing also, the tank's name does not appear yet class and HP do. I'm only using in HoT dungeons so far.
There are current addons for wow, like Clique, where you are able to set heals per mouse button and then just click on raid frames to heal so you never actually target anyone specifically. I wouldn't worry yourself, carry on enjoying the bot
Here is most recent log. The bot config did not bug out and list no tank name, however my healer was not responding to combat, thus not firing off its healing spells. The spells that were manually pressed. Is that a CC problem I feel? View attachment 1-15-2012_7_34 PM 2380 Log.txt
Here is a log showing lazyraider designating me as tank even tho i set the tank to paladin. View attachment 1-17-2012_7_40 PM 128 Log.txt
I have a question, after i start the lazyraider it wont que to any instance, where can i do that or do i just have to start it in normaly instancebuddy?
Bobby: Is it possible to disable this text in HB when running LazyRaider: Code: [19:26:05:269] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:338] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:406] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:474] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:553] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:621] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:689] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:758] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:826] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:894] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:05:962] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:06:030] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:06:098] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:06:166] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 [19:26:06:234] [LazyRaider] Tank set to -ME-, max health 2419 It happens to me each time I join an instance when I'm tank. Only way to stop it is by choosing someone else in the party. Could u maybe implement something that disables this? Here is my log.
botosan, Thanks for the post. Not sure what was occurring per this log as it seems the list of group members provided by WOW/HB was borked. When that type of behavior occurs, you may need to exit HonorBuddy and restart to clear memory. If its a recurring issue after a restart let me know since something else is occurring. If the tank goes significantly out of range (dies, ports, elevator, etc.), it will select someone else to serve as tank. I'll look at adding some logic for handling this better. Thanks for the post, Bobby53
control143, Thanks for the post and glad it is of use to you! +rep and good luck with your toon, Bobby53
