[PB] Profession Profiles

Hello all i decided to share my profiles i have been using to level various professions.

I have made all of these profiles based of of the original Alch 1-525 profile then modified them to work with different professions or to fix little issues i have found, i have also tried to make them smart enough to try to create different recipes depending on AH quantity.

Let me know if any help.

Usage: Go to Dalaran Load Profile Set any needed settings and press start =)

So Far i have:

Alchemy 1-525 (Dalaran)
Jewelry Crafting 1-525 (Dalaran)
Inscription 1-525 (Dalaran) in works

Old profiles no longer work, will be updating this thread with updated profiles as soon as they are done!

Trying to test this out but how do we set it up exactly. Does it automatically fly to Dalaran or do I have to be there for it to work?

 

I haven,t tried it outside Dal, not sure but if you are in Dal it will take care of everything else.

Load profile in PB set the settings and make sure the secondary bot is combat bot, now that it itself is a bot and let it run =)

 

it just buy the needed stuff to skill from AH? Or is it possible to do this with other prof. Herbelism + Mining? so its possible to skill both herb+alch - mining+juwe - herb+inscript from 1-525, maybe take a look at the working 1-525 leatherworking and skinning.

 

with the JC i came back to it trying to make something next to the mailbox but it required a forge, anyway of making it move to the forge just next to the mailbox in Dal?

 

Updated JC profile to run to forge when needed.

 

Unfortunately this isn't working for me.
It executes one action and it gets stuck until I press stop and start:
*start* Buys settings, and the tools *stuck* *stop*
*start* trains *stuck* *stop*
*start* buys one page of copper bars *stuck* *stop*
*start* gets mail *stuck* *stop*
*start* buys more copper bars *stuck* *stop*

It's a pity. I have 8 toons that need to level JC lol

 

Does it skip buying items I already bought?
And I have an idea for JC that you could maybe make it DE stuff (If player has enchanting) when bag full.
And also there is some sort of delay when its done on the mailbox (With JC). Can't figure what causes it :S
But all other it's an awesome profile TY!!

Toney I had a similar problem with the alchemy profile...I had to change some code. Let me check what I did.

Edit: Okay. I've uploaded my modified copy of the alchemy profile.

The problem for me was that the bot would go buy pages of crap from the AH, almost everything available actually, whereas it should only have been buying as much as it needed for that recipe. The author forgot to add a !HasNewMail condition to the mail recipe tiers, so the bot would keep buying without realizing it had shit in the mail.

Basically each section needs to look like this:

Any news on the inscription profile? Or did you stop working on it?

Can somebody explain in detail how you solved this problem? I don?t get it.

u said put it on combat bot? do u use mixed mode? how do u use PB and CB??

 

This singlehandedly turned this profile from a frustrating but useful tool to the greatest thing in the world. Thanks very much to you, and to the OP as well, especially if he updates his profiles on the first page to reflect this fix.

 

Updated the JC one aswell to do the same as Jon did

-slightly buggy but still does the trick

 

I must say when ProfessionBuddy first came out I was irritated. Now, after having so many profiles created PB has been a life saver combined with Relogger plugin and the AH bot. Thumbs up to everyone contributing!
