Worth botting for more than 12 hours?

hey guys, ive been using this bot for about a couple days now, but ive only been using it when i am home and i can watch my computer or have quick access incase of a problem. Currently i am leveling a shaman using ShamWoW and kicks 1-58 ally profile.

So here's my point. Do you think its worth it botting while i am at school? I would do it but im not 100% sure the bot will not mess up and i really dont feel like getting banned, considering i have lots of characters that are very well geared.
Could i run this bot for about 9 hours straight?

When leveling I dont like to be too ar away from my system and I like to check in on it every 10 to 15 minutes or a half an hour at the outside. There are some really good questing profiles out there (Kicks especially) to be sure but there are those quests that just don't want to work properly no matter how well they are scripted and then there are other considerations like the ass who will follow you and keep chalenging you to a dual, the guy who wants to join as a group to kill something and you wont accept no matter how much he begs, etc.

I have often used a leveling profile for 9 to 12 hours, if not longer. Its not that you can't level for this long its that you dont want your toon caught up somewhere for 8 hours unsupervised trying to turn in a quest, complete a quest without using the proper item, get stuck in a tree somewhere. Check in on your toon every so often and you should be fine.

 

Just use LogMeOut and you will be fine in most cases, you can make it log out after a certain time, after farming 4k justice points/honor points, after killing 200, 300, 400 etc mobs and so on.
It's pretty safe. Also use the Badboy addon for whispers.

I use teamviewer to control it, it's laggy as hell but it's working. I can stop it if I get any whispers or whisper back in seconds.

 

While leveling I used to be near the computer. However, with the Azenius project (which i'm pretty sure is horde only) I afk it overnight. only had one issue so far. however, normally, i will bg overnight using arelog. that way when i wake up i have 4k honor and am that much closer to the bloodthirsty title.

 

I do it 24/7 other than when I'm not playing legitimately.

 

its not worth botting for money......Last 2 offers i got was 0.20/k and 0.36/k That is worthless. 60k gold sells for like 20$.. chinese can go skrew themselves for that price lol

 

Hi mate, I always bot at school, I have a 2.5 hours on, 0.5 hours of routine going using "Arelog" I recommend it highly, works like a charm for me

 

Hi mate, I believe peeps bot for many different reasons I started botting as I wanted to lvl my fishing and anybody who has done that manually can testify how boring that task can be so I found Mr. Fish it and voila the rest is history. After this I realised that botting was very good for all the boring tasks but the main reason I use it now is to make personal gold so all my 10 toons in my main account have all the best gear and all profs are at 525 with plenty of mats. One thing I have learned is never and I mean NEVER bot what you dont want to lose and least of all without supervision(of your main acc that is). I have a few farming accounts that do all the botting , and many times I have found a lveling toon trying to hand in a quest for hrs, or running against a mountain, etc etc .. all good reasons for me to say if you want to bot do it on stuff that you will not regret losing. On the other hand I never bot more than 8 hrs a day and so far I have made over 2 mill gold. My 2 cents

Well true is that you character will messup always once you leaven the computer. This 1-60 leveling profile for Alliance is fine till you get to Blasted Lands. First real problems started there. Now I am using this 58-70 outland/Zangamash leveling profile and it is complete mess. Well it is not tha bad, but it can not be defenitely run for hours by itself without supervising. Fel Reaver was killing me a lot or my walock running into non-managable fights .. too many mobs. There is also problem to find out right pulling distance. When you chose 25+ distance then your bot is killing like crazy on the way to reach the quest giver or on the way to target quest location. Well killing is Ok, because it means XP, but completing quests takes ages.

 

I am really happy this app is here. I am boting only for getting mats to satisfy me own playing needs like flasks, food, gems etc. Because you know what ? I want to enjoy playing and NOT getting my brain-washed by mindless farming herbs, because I need flasks for raiding. Now I am also leveling my warlock using leveling profiles, but that is not because I really need it. It is mainly because I wanted to find out how it is working.

 

questing . yea sure.. but farming. i would be iffy. there are to many people botting(farming wise) and they'll report you faster than a legit player. and most of them are right here on this forum.

Yes. I work full time and bot from 9:15 AM while I'm at work until 6:30 PM when I get home from the gym. I am able to spot check the bot every hour or so while at work, which is nice. I typically run heroics, LFRs while using LazyRaider, or work on professions until midnight or 1:00 AM. From 1:00 AM until I wake up around 7:30 AM, I am botting something that is completely AFK'able; gathering, archa, kick's 1-60 profiles (98% AFK'able), etc.

 

Well my farming is usually like 1-3 hours max 1-2 times a week and I am always sitting by the computer watching movie in upper right corner of my screen so I am pretty aware of what is going on with my bot. I do not even think I am harming someones elses game. As I said .. I need just some flasks for raiding and sometimes some gems for prospecting to satisfy my needs. Thats it.

 

I bot 12h + if i can but i'm always on my machine because i study.
I wouldn't recommend to bot 12h + without beeing at least not to far away (don't went to the city when your bot is running).

I use my bots 24/7 when im using it to lv pvp farming etc, think i had it on 7days without checking it out just turned it on again if i got any erros etc, never beenbanned or anything i dont think blizz care so much these days

 

atm i have lvled a priest from 1 - 83 . played 3 days allmost non stop.

my bot is running maby 18 hours every day

 

I think it is dangerous to use more than 15 hours. It is my opinion)

Usually around 15 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. I'm a casual botter, so that is more the enough for me to make some decent gold for the week. I try not to get 2 greedy these days.
