Alright so I've been gone for a year, glad to be back and for the past week I've been overlooking the boards trying to catch up on what I've missed out on. I found the SVN video guide did got it setup and everything. Using Kick's Rep grinding I downloaded them all using the SVN but when I look inside the folder for lets say the Uldum Rep one there are no files in it. Did I miss something? Im running HB in quest mode since they are dailies but still cant figure it out. Please help me out and thank you all for your time.
Rahkahen Rep found it in your trunk folder Edited: [Fly][N - Rep Quest] U Ramkahen Rep Dailies [Kick].xml
yep, but you said uldum folder, not uldum profile it does 2 quests... those are the only 2 dailies there. what's the issue?
\Kick's Profiles\1-85 Questing Profile Pack\Reputation\Cata , in that folder? Or are you trying to get it to open the file off the google servers?
Lets make this easier how to I download that profile cause this will probably take forever to figure out whats going wrong
Make a new notepad file and copy/paste. It's that easy if you are having problems. Or what moods said even easier.
Right click on the link you posted, save link as... The easiest way is to just use TortoiseSVN to copy the entire repository to your HDD, that way you can keep it updated.
Alright so thats how its done I thought it would need some special program or something. Whats the point of the SVN and then? If I read it correctly it automatically updates the profile when a new version of it comes out, correct? Edited: Also how do I save it as an .xml, my notepad doesnt have that option?
There must be a problem with your browser or something. I'm using Google Chrome, also testing in Firefox. Works perfectly. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/guides/26031-videoguide-how-svn-jvidia.html <--- Is this the SVN guide you saw?
I'm using FireFox, I get the options to open in a new tab or window, save link as, or send link option. I just updated my Browser and computer last week so I should have no issues with that
SVN is awesome.... one thing i like is, i don't have to constantly look in the forum for an update. just right click the folder and SVN update... and also instead of downloading 50 different things you download 1 thing . especially with kicks he has ton's of stuff in his svn. also use this TortoiseSVN
blahblahblah.xml, also did you make a new folder and right click then SVN check out with the svn trunk?
