[PB] Toney's (very basic) TSM-Based AH Bot Profile

I've changed my interact file to the one u was pointing up somewhere, and now it works, but now to the problem. The bot doesnt go into auctioning - post and auctioning - cancel to se if i'm undercutted, any ideas what i've screwed up?

 

Likely something broken with the Getmail command in PB.
This profile doesn't really do anything on it's own, it relies on external things. It doesn't handle mail, it doesn't handle auctioning... it just pieces everything together.

I'll check it out whenever I have time, but like I said before, my free time is gonna be extremely limited for another week or two. Might wanna try posting on the PB thread.
If something's broken, it's PB. I can assure you that much.

 

Interact file? Whatchoo talking 'bout willis?
Is the bot not interacting with the auctioneer or just not starting the scanning?
If it doesn't even open the AH, it's a PB issue. If it does, but it doesn't start scanning, then something in the setting up of TSM went wrong.

I can't say what you may or may not have screwed up because I've no idea what you've done lol

How can I change the value of items offered for auction? I trade greem items and they are set to 100 gold, how to change this?

Anyone know where to find the modified files ? Cant seem to find them... searched forum and so on. Thank you.

 

This profile helped me alot, only two problems i have is fact that TSM cant post same item in deferent stack sizes and 2nd problem is that profile start new scan/post cycle so fast that tons of ppl whisper me telling me im bot etc. so i had to change posting time to 2min in hope to bring less attention to me

 

That's done within TSM. Read the guide included with the addon for more info.
It's inside the TradeSkillMaster folder.

Clearly you didn't follow the instructions in the first post.

The first is a limitation within TSM itself, unfortunately. Nothing that can be done about it.
The second... yeah, I know it's not for everyone. I'm on a very high pop server and competition is fierce. I never get whispers so I went with that.

You're using the new version of TSM. This will not work for that.
If you wanna use this, roll back to the old one (the one that had the sidebar and not the AH tab).

If someone ever *****s the new version, I'll be more than happy to update this. Until then, enjoy it for as long as it lasts (I imagine the old version won't break at least until 5.0 comes out).

It's not working because it's not supposed to work with the new version!
I don't know the version numbers, just go to curse.com, go to the archives and start trying from newest to oldest until you find one that has the sidebar and not a tab in the AH screen.
Once you find the right version, install the modified files and try again.

I set up an old version of TSM (0.2.6 beta whith the sidebar) and this is a new problem
you mean that I should to test every old version of TSM untill it works properly?

Oh, you didn't say you rolled back. My bad.
Did you thoroughly read the first post? My guess is you didn't install the modified files.

 

I did

 

Run the profile and once it opens the AH, try clicking the post button and let it go. Just wanna check if it actually posts stuff once it's done scanning.

EDIT: I just checked and I have version 0.2.6. If it doesn't work, you're doing something wrong. In which case, go back to post 1 and repeat the steps thoroughly.

 

Anyone else can't find the modified Remote.lua? even after jumping through the hoops in the first post I couldn't find it ):

 

I just checked and FEUP (or the mods) removed the attachment from the post I linked.
If you look around, there's a link somewhere, but in case he's the one that removed the link, I'll respect his wishes and not link to this other post.

Feel free to look around for it though, it's out there.

Not got it working yet i think i have the wrong version of TSM, but i will.

Do you have any plans to update it to work with the new improved TSM out of interest?

 

It's a pity you didn't find it before Feup removed the remote.lua file (you can still find it in another post of his if you look around though).

I don't know anything about programming. All I did was use the modified files Feup and Inrego kindly enough posted, and glued everything together.
If someone publicly releases a workaround for the new version, I'll be more than happy to update this .
