  • HB crashes as soon as I start it up

      I have tried a fresh installation of HB and running as admin. It just says "Honorbuddy has stopped working. Please wait while Windows searches for a solution." I don't get the chance to even log in so I cannot provide a log.

      Do you have wow in windowed mode?

      Do you have net frame work 3.5+?

      - net Framework 3.5 installed?

      Just double-checked my .net framework I have had 4.0 for a while. I am currently using Windows 7. Wow is in windowed mode.

      have you tried running it as admin?

      Just did some minor update for windows. Did another fresh install of HB and it still crashes before I can log in.

      1. Make sure WoW is run in DirectX 9. (Menu > Options > Graphics > Advanced)
      2. Make sure you have NET Framework 4.5 installed.
      3. Run HonorBuddy with Administrator Privileges.

      you need the .net framework 3.5 sp1, its a completely separate thing from 4.0 and dosnt include 3.5.

      I have no idea how my .net framework 3.5 got turned off. That seems to have been the issue. Thank you very much for your time and effort.
