So, I now have 2 accounts and I'm about to make an 85 on my new account so I don't have to be botting on my main account. although blizzard already knows that these two accounts are linked in some way shape or form because I've already logged on to the second account with my current IP I want to figure out how I can keep myself somewhat safe. I'd like to know what you guys botting with 20-26 bots on a single computer at the same time do because I can't seem to figure out any solution! I will be trying to in the future bot with upwards of 3 accounts at the same time on the same computer. (don't say anything about have I checked my hardware to see if it can even handle 3+ wows at the same time... I made my computer it's capable...) also if any could give me a suggestion of the next class to make on the new account (I already have a 85 rogue mage pally dk and warrior) EDIT: btw can anyone tell me when I log off wow and HB closes (after i've pressed stop) why it says max sessions authentication failed... only happens when I try to logon within 5 min after logoff
your ip address means nothing, people log in at cyber cafes, and university's all the time, if they automatically linked all accounts that log into one ip address they would have a lot of false positives, the only time that ip addresses MAY factor is is when they are manualy tracing down gold farming and selling activity, and more then 10 accounts are involved, but for NORMAL people, your should be fine. i myself run 2 botting accounts, and my friends come over play wow on their legit accounts and i even have a guild bank with less then 20k gold in it for them to use. (i dont see a need to go over 20k) as long as you dont do stupid stuff like send tons of gold around, you'll be fine.
Yea think about it. I play WoW at home, and my wife plays as well. I have three-four friends come over to our house and play WoW on the weekends.... if blizzard looked at my IP connections, they would think I am playing 5 different accounts... but in reality I am not. So they can't assume.
