I'm Banned! :(

I've bought a honorbuddy session yesterday, and today i've 3 days banned acount in wow. I've put the HB's folder in desktop (now is at the same that wow), and i'has some troubles during i was testing it... for example that i was taking adamant in uldum and just stay in same place, without doing anything... i've or i did something wrong? or is just bad luck? Thanks!

 

what did you do... quest? gathering? BG? or what... cause I got HonorBuddy like 3 days ago nearly and I have like almost 1 day 41 hours played on it.. no ban yet... how long did you bot? and what profile? was it kicks questing profile? I have had this bot for like 2 days and botted 1 day + played time.. though I don't bot 24/7 I try to get 10 levels per day before I stop... unless its a low level like 1-10.. then ill keep going to around 30... but after that I get 10 levels a day so 30 to 40... stop for a few hours then start again... it depends what you where using at the time.. I use kicks levelling profile.. no banns yet so it all depends on what profile you use.. and did you ever supervise the bot? or did you leave it? so many questions..

someone mostly reported you as you said "you came back and the bot was stuck"

if it was gatherbot.. then in my opinion.. ( though I have never used it) is high ban rate...) unless you make you own profile layout... cause I think sometimes other people report you.. not just players but other botters cause they see you using the default profile then they know you bot and since they want all the stuff to them selfs they report you

Well, to try the bot, i've used it on a bg... but anyone say to me nothing, and no rare things happened. After this, I leave the bot in uldum, whit the profile named "[GB2] Zuabros' Uldum Mining Only 1.3". By 2 hours recolected of elementium, and when i cameback i found the login page of the wow game. I thought that my player has died... so i leave it alone again by one houre more. I cameback and i found the login screen again; then i thought that maybe the profile has any mistakes, or something wrong... I leave the bot again in uldum farming elementium, and when i cameback by third at home... Surprise!! My acount has been banned by 3days...

Resuming... My bot has been without supervision by 6 hours as much.... and in my guild is there many people that do exactly that i did... and they never has a ban... is my bad luck? thanks for so many and fast answers!

Well , you may play on a high populated Server with many Players farming in Uldum , if they use the same public Profile like u they fly the same way like you do and so they report to that you get banned, because they want all the ore for theirselves. Dont use Public Uldum Profiles, its the most dangerous zone.

Can we just remove all public profiles and replace them with links to a tutorial?
Using a public profile in Uldum is just asking for trouble...

 

I bot in Minahonda, a EU spanish server (i'm from spain) selected when you create your character... and yes... Uldum has a massive traffic of people farming... and in the night, most of they are bots... almost sure... since now my acount will be watched? I've got more posiblities to get a new ban? i'm not sure now if to use the bot...

 

You should watch your toons before you use any profile to make sure they are running flawlessly, if theres other people running the exact same profile as you it looks bad.

 

Now i know that i've to watch my character... XD 3days of ban has cost to me to know this XD, but since now... my acount will be carefully watched by gm's? or is only bad luck for this time? thanks!!

farming 3 hours , idle 1 hour , entire 12 hours loop, uldum mining herb, bot got stuck for few minutes in that tunel under water so i guess there was observed, but they monitor us for longer back...

You don't have to watch your toon if you take the time to appropriately set the bot up before taking it to "the field".

It is unknown whether GMs keep an eye on you (my personal experience is that they don't), but should you get reported again, chances are there won't be much you can do to get a banned reversed.

 

i just got HB the other day, i only got it for Archaeology "such a stupid profession" but i decide to see how it went in AV and from 1-2 mins in the first AV i joined i turned it off... there where 3 other players doing exactly what i was so pretty obvious there botters and would know i was trying it to.... now i have to learn how to make my own profiles for just about everything public profiles are good for examples but really i dont think they should be used if you like your account.
