  • Launcher cannot obtain patching information?

      had this bot for a few days, and after I installed my wow launcher just started popping up with "Launcher cannot obtain patching information"? but no big deal right? cause I just opened wow.exe from the folder.... but since theres a new patch I am screwed? ):

      No your not screwed, youll just have to wait like everyone else!

      if you on about your wow update you are not screwed even if you open wow with ow.exe from the folder it will update your wow before you even can log in to wow so no worry's had the same problem before and i did not have hb yet so its not hb thats causing the problem of "Launcher cannot obtain patching information" . hope this is the answer you are looking for .

      no no.. you guys misunderstood.. I got HonorBuddy around 3 days ago now... I updated to latest patch (as I didn't play wow for a few months) updates like normal, started HonorBuddy, since I was new at that time I had no clue how to get it going so I logged off and asked for Tony's help so I clicked the "Launcher" and kept getting "Launcher cannot obtain patching information. Please check your internet configuration" so this didn't happened today or anything it has been happening 3 days ago, so I just opened wow through the wow folder and clicked wow.exe.. and that launcher has been screwed since I did the last update (cause I didn't play for months so there was an update for me) but after that update and honorbuddy installed that error keeps popping which 3 days ago my return to wow worked fine..


      yes... I know we are waiting for an update to honorbuddy..... but my issue is when honorbuddy updates how now can I update my wow when I keep getting this error on my patching? the launcher doesn't even show just a little box pops up with that error. I even opened wow.exe typed in anything just to get the update... and it says there was an update restart required so I clicked it wow closes and same error.. so my issue isn't honorbuddy my issue is the wow launcher was working before and I knew it hasn't worked for a few days but I thought it was wows end so I just waited but since 3 days is up and there's a new wow update and wont let me install I can't use HonorBuddy, so that's the issue. I am going out for awhile today so at least I get a break from botting what I wanted to get it setup for when I come home.

      issue fixed, I deleted the wow launcher in my folder and did a repair now it's working correctly, just letting you know in case anyone else has issues.

      guys after the patch this morning i logged in normally and then started HB and it said this:
      You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
      Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with!
      This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #15050
      You are currently on build #0

      anyone knows what to do? just wait for an update of HB or there is some config im not aware of? please let me know

      Read up on the other recent Support Issues Forum. You'll find that Blizzard just updated Warden a few days ago, as well as there was a brand new patch. HB is getting better updated for this patch, and should be up anywhere between 24-48 hours from the point the Patch goes live on European servers.
